Top tier national park. Remote and wild. Canoe camped at site WA13. Please be mindful that the road is shared with cyclists so be safe! My only issue was motorcycles very loud ones riding through the park at very early hours.
Beautiful place for every season. Great trails of different sizes. Otentiks had everything we needed. Wood heating and wood is included. Walk in sites. Comfort station and kitchen was a few minutes walk. Weber genesis II bbq with burner. Lovely experience. Staff were friendly and helpful.
An absolutely beautiful park and in fall the colours are stunning. Quebec's Algonquin. Sadly extremely limited provision for dogs even more so than other parks in Quebec, so much so that on entry the staff at the gatehouse suggested we visit another park. I'm sure it's in place to protect wildlife, but other parks get by just fine with some restrictions. Hopefully it changes in future.
La Mauricie exceeded my expectations. I didn't know what to expect but the breath-taking views and gorgeous lakes blew me away. There were so many amazing view points that were easy to get to and some more that you needed some more effort to get to. I would definitely recommend visiting this park to anyone that is interested!
Been here for hiking during the fall season! There are too many beautiful spots and lakes for a pause! Gives you good vibes! Attention! vous pouvez en tomber amoureux !
Amazing place to do some canoe portages. We loved how the maps are detailed and descriptive with distances and expected times. Trails are well marked. The loons are beautiful- just watch out for the mosquitoes and leeches.
Camping for three nights, we visited lots of attractions. If possible, you should pick the Waber waterfall. This is a spectacular and beautiful waterfall, but before, you have to canoe or kayak for two hours, and then hiking for 1.5 hours. It is strongly recommended that you prepare enough water and food. The campsite is clean and bathing is free I've visited other camps before and need to put coins. The staff were very friendly!!!
Very beautiful park with many trails , beaches, lakes, activities, and information centre. We always drive from Montreal to this park and take us around 2 hours each way drive. The fees is around $9 per adult for the daily user. I always visit this park when I visit Montreal to hike, swim, and relax. The chance is waiting for you too. Check the park website for more details ;
Anyone who really loves camping is going to love this place. Cano-camping is a unique experience, something I recommend to those who like adventure. I would return to this place more times, even with mosquitoes or not, I will repeat it. Coyotes are heard at night, it's scary but it's not something that happens in our lives every day. I was at Lake Eduarc.
Man! this place is huge and awesome! Make sure you go there early morning because you have a lot of things to do here!
