Its a beautiful park by the water. Beautiful sculptures. A great spot to watch the sun set. There's a beautiful church overlooking the park. Great places to eat nearby. Unfortunately the grass is covered in animal waste. It was disappointing to not be able to lay a mat and enjoy the peace and quiet.
A nice place where there's a trail for all walks of life. Ample parking, children's playground with splash pad, skating court, volleyball beach court, basketball court, and even a leash free dog park with seats provided.nnLots of tree shades and benches. One can even picnic and spend the time on the beach or even swimming. Set your canoe and dogs are allowed to swim as well.nnThere's also a double decker bus where food like fish & chips, burgers, fries and drinks are sold.nnIn addition, there are toilets and they are quite clean.nnReally a beautiful place to relax and spend time altogether.
A wonderful Fri night with live music for free!! the Penetang Lions club has some food and drinks for sale.nMusic is from 6-8pmnnWhile I was there, I put out a few @tinyrocks to be found and rehidden.nThe band in the video is Bandwidth, classic 70&80s rock.
Beautiful park with playground, splash pad, washrooms, little beach, basketball courts, picnic tables, bike and walking trails.
What a beautiful park on the water. Penetang is such a scenic and beautiful town. This is one of the best spots to see the bay.nThere are wonderful statues and plaques saluting the past and it's people in the area.nAn ode to the history and significance of this area.nAmple parking, no fee, wonderful and colorful trail. Kids park down the trail as well as shops and foodstuffs.
