This is a beautiful park, with lots of space for kids to play. There is a parking lot right in front of the park. The park itself is surrounded by soccer fields, a baseball diamond, tennis courts and a skate park. There are many benches and picnic tables and lots of shade. The modules are new, in good condition and lots of fun. The park features a pirate ship module, a large climbing module and a slide. There is also a beautiful splash pad to play in. During the week, it is a very peaceful park, however the schools nearby sometimes also use it, so it can be packed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great park to take your kids to.
Often visit this park with kid, basically everything you can wish from a playground for a kid. As a bonus there is pool nearby
It needs more leafy trees and pines, boulders to climb. There's very little shade, not many picnic tables and most games in the playground are for older kids 5 and up.
I love the recent upgrades to this community space, especially I'm impressed with the newly renovated community centre
The newly renovated René-Veillet building is nice, the rooms feel new, the building itself is more accessible, it feels like a good upgrade. However, it's a shame to have lost the second set of doors to the big hall, and the window to the kitchen. The big hall itself feels smaller as well which is unfortunate.nnOverall the building looks beautiful and the renovations were much needed, but I think there were a few things missed.
