At this time of the year, you can forge a snack, lots wild berries and apples. Beautiful park. Easy walk. Lots of things to see. Big mature trees. in the fall, it’s breathtaking. Wait for little breeze and you’ll see rain like leaves falling. Definitely worth a visit.
The park is close to Montreal, easily accessible. It is well maintained, good for easy walk. There are lakes and hills, often you may see deer or fox. There are many warblers. They are brave enough to grab seeds from hikers' hands. It is a good park.
Many good memories from this place, and writing this review made me miss my days spent admiring Canada's nature. Beautiful park and very friendly and helpful staff. A small fee is required to enter, which can be payed online, and it's worth every cent. Visited Mont-Saint-Bruno a few times during my stay in Montréal. In summer, there was a shuttle bus departing from the metro terminal to the park, so the access was easy for pedestrians like myself. Great place to hike, and the canoe is a fun and refreshing choice for hot days.
This is a park with nice trails, I did the full blue trail around the park 10 km more or less of walking on the woods with nice views from small lakes. If you want to do paddle boarding or canoeing you need to call in advance for the rental, they don't rent on the spot. Nice and quiet lake to enjoy your water activity.
Nice parc, easy and stroller friendly trails. Bathrooms, picnic tables, benches, a playground, everything is there to enjoy a nice walk. Dog are allowed but not on all trials. Pay your entrance in advance headed of busy days as you might not be allowed to enter if they are in overcapacity.
Make sure a daily pass on their website before entering the park, its like 9$ and saves the hassle when getting to the parking. Hike was great, lots of great views with observation decks. Close to montreal and easily accessible by car. Fairly easy to moderate hike with lake views and lots of wildlife. Very quiet for a sunny tuesday afternoon, we barely crossed 10-15 people the entire 4 hours we were there- i think we saw more deer than people! **Make sure to bring lots of water because the fountain water isn’t drinkable**
Hiking here in Fall is magnificent! I can’t describe how beautiful it was! Besides the beautiful view, the track also has various options for beginner to advance. This park is must visit in Fall season!
We went there in last October and it is almost close to end to watch the maple leaves colors. We did a trail around Quai du moulin and lac seigneurial, it was amazing. Btw. There are few private Mansions along the lake seigneurial, fantastic.
A beautiful and peaceful national park near Montreal 30mins!!! Trails are not difficult. Highly suggested for a family. We are thinking to get an annual card next year
HIKE/TRAIL/WALK REVIEW. I like this park because it's were I can find the most challenge/peace ratio in a 30km radius of my house Laval for a quick hike. It has nice trails, good amenities, ample parking, etc. Not a lot of views in my opinion, but still a lot of nice spots to enjoy nature and look at birds, trees, plants... Buy the SEPAQ year all-access pass...
