I like to go near the end of the season so there's not much people. It's always very pretty and clean. There is a playground for the kids and restrooms on site. It's a good place for a nice walk, we see a lot a people with dogs and you can do a nice picnic if you want. Beautiful views!
Great park for a short walk in the wilderness. It costs 12$ for adults and 4$ for seniors. There is a playground for children and picnic tables next to the parking lot. With the ticket, you can come and go as many times as you want during the day and you can also go to the beach and the cascade park. For the walk, the trails are uneven with tree roots and some are rocky which made them very interesting and fun to walk. Some paths are not super well defined so you could walk wherever you like, which gives more freedom. We spent about 2h here because we were taking lots of photos and breaks to take in the great autumn views.
Beautiful place to go for a short walk. We paid 24$ entry for two people .. some pathways can be accessed by a stroller but it’s all gravel .so u really need to push uphill and have a strong wheel.. but nice and quite place to have a picnic by the waterfall . Our baby really enjoyed watching so much of greenery and tall trees.
Very beautiful park. Safe for kids and all family. All fast food available at 5 minutes by car. Bathrooms available on site. Absolutely gorgeous views everywhere.
2 words: beautiful + mosquitoes 1 hour drive from Montreal, a small interesting park with the mythological waterfalls. Rich green nature, very few animals to eye-catch. Entrance is 12$ free parking
Beautiful scenery. The trail is easy and short. I went in the end of March and the place is covered with snow There is no entrance fee. The parking is 10 dollars for the day
We travelled 1 hr to reach Dorwin from Montréal and reached there around 16hrs. There are 3 sites to visit and which are a few km apart. The entry fee for the 3 sites is cad 12 per pax. We visited the rapids which were impressive and nice to hear the sound of the water. We left the car in the free parking provided and started the walk towards the waterfall. We walked for about 45 mins and stopped at each view point for photos and videos. Then we drove towards the beach where we spent half an hour contemplating the lake and people having fun swimming, kayaking etc. We did not have time to go to the cascades as they close at 18hrs. Recommended place to visit but beware of bringing small kids as there's a few km to walk and the land is not flat.
Absolutely beautiful and lots of walking the water is super clean ; the entrance is $12 per person with the access to the waterfalls within 12 min driving and the beach ; when you pay for the entrance you’ll receive a green bracelet that will allow you to enter to the beach area and the waterfalls, wear comfortable shoes a lot of walking!
Nice trail short but worth it. It has lots of exposed roots and it goes through the rock layer, so watch your step. Breath taking views and a very relaxing place to spend the afternoon. Parking was $10
easy access paid parking, still officially closed but accessible for hikers, moderately icy path, wonderful vibes by the river, part of the path is not defined and blocked by snow.
