Great little park tucked on the bank of the St. Lawrence waterway. Plenty of sandy beach where dogs are allowed, and a nice walkway that is level and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, and so was the entire park. Fair amount of people and some dogs on a weekday fall morning, but plenty of parking.
The best 'plage' in Québec city, vast beach, very clean, BBQ friendly gas only River tide effect, sand beach from Mars! Restrooms: Clean and vast Picnic area: Gas bbq only
Beautiful park with a nice walking path. If you continue to the cliffs, there are an incredible set of stairs that lead you to a quiet beach with lots of wildlife.
A beautiful beach, all year long! A breath of fresh air, about 10 minutes from the Center. A great walk with amazing views!
One of my favourite places in Quebec City! Such a beautiful place to have picnics, go jogging, walk your dog, or go snowshoeing in winter. If you like to take nice walks, this is a must place to visit.
For a city, I guess the beach is okay. Pretty sad that you can’t even swim there because the water is so polluted. On any day that has nice enough weather to head down, you’re not the only one with that plan and the parking is generally always full unless you get lucky. So then we decided to bike the next time so parking wasn’t a problem.. but for some ridiculous reason, bikes are not allowed in the park??? And you cannot even walk with them- WALK! We’re all trying to be greener and more environmentally friendly and you cannot even walk with a bike in the park.. And! And I can’t make this up. You’re not allowed to hang a hammock in the park it causes zero damage to a tree, and we’re just trying to be immersed in nature, and that’s not even allowed. But there was no issue with the person next to us smoking I think parks should be about getting people out and into nature as naturally as possible and with all of these rules it’s just sad, and Society has gone too far.
So peaceful and beautiful
Please do NOT go to this park alone at night especially in winter. The road to this park near the railway is very dangerous because of the snow desert.
Walk along the river that is in large sections shaded. Beautiful views and benches. On the weekends it change a zoo to park and maybe worth joining the path from a different location then the main entrance
Beautiful hidden place within Quebec City
