Beautiful park with so much to do and see. You could easily spend several days here and probably not see everything. But definitely worth the trip for any nature lover.
Living in Ottawa we are absolutely spoiled rotten having a gorgeous National Park that is a 55 minute ride from Downtown Ottawa. I personally don’t need a cottage because I can bike to Meech lake and hang out in one of the most beautiful lakes in Canada IMO.nnThe amenities are excellent, staff are always really helpful, shuttles and e bikes have really upped accessibility of the Park to all users. They also close down the parkways throughout the summer for Active Transportation uses which many love…esp and s.nnDon’t forget that both Chelsea and Wakefield are two amazing destinations immediately adjacent to both ends of the Park.
Great place to go cycling up to the few lookouts and lakes around the park. Lots of parkings before getting there. No cars allowed during the week except on Wednesday afternoons.
Beautiful park with incredible trails. The forest is gorgeous and the scenery is delightful. The trails are well maintained and enjoyable.
I loved so much, great Park, the last time I was there I found the river, so much fun to walk, great spots to take picture, lots of different kind of mushrooms, nature is so beautiful.
