Very clean park surrounded by untouched forest. It's super quite and the atmosphere is relaxing. We came for a hike around the lake. You can also rent a treehouse or camp. The road to the tree houses take.you through a little hike. So they provide small carriages to bring your stuff. Make sure not to forget anything in your car. There's an entrance fee of 10$ per adult.
I give you one . I was there yesterday for a walk with a friend of mine. The trail that was recommend to us was #1 around the lake. Apparently it tells you 4.7 k and 100 minutes. Not so!! We're 2 very active woman and in all it tooks us 3hrs and 50 minutes from beginning to end l!! The trails are treterous , very narrow and dangerous one wrong fotting and you're over the Clif. There are no signs with an emergency number in case of injury. That was the case yesterday, a lady sprained her ankle. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed our outing fresh air, the scenery was amazing. You have to look where your stepping at all times and this particular trail should be done only if your in great physical shape.
This is our second time there. We were there the first time 7 years ago for a stay in one of their treehouses, and this time for a hiking along the lake. I see they have made some improvements to the treehouses, and we loved the trails. The only complaint I have is there are a LOT of mosquitos, so make sure to bring your repellant. The trails are very well marked, and there is a map at all the forks. The "you are here" is marked with a small red sticker on the maps, but in some cases the sticker is gone. If you have followed the trails and maps well, you should be able to tell where you are. There is no mobile connection, so make sure to grab a paper map at the dépanneur, where you pay for the entry, as the pavillon d'accueil is closed. The scenery is beautiful and this place is so quiet.
I really love this place. It is quiet, peaceful and isolated. Less popular then Mont-Tremblant but thats what makes it even better. Great views. I would definitely go back to camp or to rent out a treehouse. Highly recommend
A great place to enjoy the autumn colors. The route is not difficult and offers a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains.
Very relax trail with amazing views with opportunities of renting kayak to go on the lakes.
I go every year with my family, especially in Fall to enjoy the beautiful colours of the forest. This park is surrounded by many lakes, has many trails and hills where you can appreciate the fall colours view. The staff is very welcoming. Good services specially the toilets. I really recommend this place.
Beautiful place, it hurts that the signage of the trails is deteriorated.. We missed a couple of times
We went here to do a shorter hike and it was a great place to walk near lakes and along boardwalks.
It's a really awesome camping site for beautiful hikes. Unfortunately we had quite some trouble with raccoons by being the only campers on the site they were all after us. Very quiet place. Not really for young children. Give it a go. Not a SEPAQ. They don't get as much subventions as those so it looks older somewhat but our week there was beautiful.
