Never use this company. We should have had 3 1-hour visits per day. I'm lucky if any psws show up at all. My mother is bed-bound and sits in dirty diapers when they don't show. I've never had all three visits filled in a day. It's also impossible to get hold of their office, and the office never calls to let you know if/when someone is coming. Complete negligence and disregard for vulnerable seniors.
If I could post an negative 10 I would. This is the worst run company. Para med is a company that employees cover each others butts. Administration is null and void, you can never reach someone, you are always disconnected. Kawartha Lakes poorly run by large egos that care more about their own agendas them taking care of sick and ill people. . Even psws arents communicated with properly. Their system and administration needs alot of work. They are curt and disrespectful of families going through hard times and just about themselves. They deal with you as power pushers and you are below them.
My experience with them is terrible. It is unfortunate that I am getting yelled at and attitude from the PSWs when I ask them to help with basic tasks. One PSW refused to change my dad even though he needed to be changed. He said he didn't need to be changed but he doesn't know what he's saying sometimes and she refused to listen to what I had to say. Also, we are supposed to get them for an hour but a lot of them would stay for 15 minutes and then complain that they are not here to watch him. The company itself is not doing anything about these people which is a shame because a lot of them are getting paid to do nothing while my dad gets nothing in return. I want to add that there are some PSWs that are amazing and actually care about the families that they are helping. Daisy and Ranjith are two names to look out for because of how great they are.
Outrageously bad. Don’t pick up or return calls even when urgent. Left hand doesn’t know what right hand is doing - got totally conflicting instructions from clinic vs “help line”. Add in equipment malfunctions with no technical support in spite of “call us if you have problems”.
This service is discussing. Leaving an old lady with no home care for an entire week because they can’t get their staff to fill shifts and No calls from them and no return phone calls when calling to find out what was happening. This company fails to render services to their clients. Should be reviewed by the government talk about elder abuse! this company is at the top.
Worst coordinator and phone response No service available in weekends and no show doesn’t get compensated on another day A few Psw performances are best but weekends if available are aggressive and rude
