Needed something quick for dinner a few weeks ago, and ordered a large poutine from here. Had a bit of a wait as I came in at a busier time I think it was around 15-20 minutes. Poutine wasn't bad for a quick bite, but the gravy was a but thicker than I'd prefer. Cost was similar to most other places I've got poutine from in the past, so I cant judge their price vs quality off of just that, but I'll have to come back and try a bit more of the menu and make a more accurate review of their pricing and quality.
Pizza is yummy and slices are huge. I do have a complaint though. When I went in it was just before 1pm and there were only a few kinds of slices left. Veggie, all dressed and one Canadian. I purchased the last Canadian slice, my preference was pepperoni, but I was starving. I asked the young woman working how long before the next pepperoni slices would be ready, she laughed and said there won't be any more slices made until the rest of these are all gone. I thought that an odd sales strategy, I wanted a slice of Canadian and a Pepperoni slice. While I was waiting for the Canadian to warm, a man came in for a slice and was told the only two flavors, and he left disappointed as he wanted pepperoni also. Just a suggestion, keep the popular flavors available at all times at lunch time, that was 2 slice sales lost in 5 minutes.
Ordered a large, was more like a medium. Crust super thin and tough.. I use to get from Paradisio all the time and loved it. I am not sure if this is new owners, but not the same pizza I was use to. Service was great and fast pick up.
Last night I ordered a Jumbo Hawaiian pizza with extra sauce and two orders of battered mushrooms. The mushrooms were awesome, best we’ve had from there but the pizza was terrible. The best way to describe the pizza sauce was tangy or bitter like bad tomatoes or a seasoning like fresh basil was add and it wasn’t good. There was a ton of green seasoning in the sauce, more than I recall from previous orders. I called the restaurant after trying a slice. They didn’t understand what I meant by the sauce was tangy and didn’t taste like it usually does. She said they used the same sauce as always and said she would have to make a pizza to try it now because she doesn’t understand what I mean. We have been getting pizzas from here for over 10 years but I think this is our last visit. I just wanted to have Hawaiian pizza for dinner in my brother’s honour. She asked me what I wanted and I said a credit to replace it sometime so she agreed to that but I don’t know if I want to eat there anytime soon. The rest went in the composer bin.
Great place to eat where you don't have to worry about consistency on the quality they provide. Paradiso's uniquely huge pizzas always makes it easy to come back. Even though sometimes they go heavy on cheese, it never deters me from returning. Staff are always excellent no matter the time of day!Food: 4/5
Not exaggerating, Paradiso has some of the best pizza we've had this side of Montreal where a 35+ year establishment has one our lifelong favourite pizzas! but we don't get back often to enjoy & you even have Jumbo size like they have there too! We are from an hour out of the city but have reason to come to the area at least once, if not twice a month. We almost always stop at the Division St. or Perth Rd. locations to get a couple pizzas or slices to come home. It hits perfectly every single time. We have not tried anything else on the menu, but if it's held to the standard that the pizza is, it must be delicious too! Both locations have friendly the young woman behind the counter @ the Division location is a gem! staff & a nice environment. Our pizzas we've had probably 15-20 pizzas from here in the last almost year, which was when we first found this place have always been exactly as ordered and waiting for us within the time frame given! They are delcious hot & fresh on the way home but also yummy cold & reheats great too. We purposely order big pzzas so we'll have leftovers because you can never have to much pizza...especially this pizza! We will return time & time again! Parking: Parking has always been easy at both the Divison St. & Perth Rd. locations. Exiting can take an extra moment as Perth Rd. is along a main road that can be a bit busy & Division St. is at an intersection in the city but it's not a hindering or deciding factor at all in going to the restaurants, just something to be aware of when visiting, especially, the first time.
Great pizza and have ordered from here for years. However, I feel the sizes are no longer as big as they used to be. Paradiso Special is a good all dressed pizza.
I haven't done a review on this place but I am now . Spent 40$ on a poutine a bacon cheese one . There's no cheese sauce on it. The bacon and sausage was dry and hard . The wings r good not worth 14.99 and the poutine was suppose to be a large but I'm 100% this is a small. Won't be ordering again have had to many wrong orders or missing pop . Never a refund . Eveytime I call I get a I'm.sorry. so not calling . I'm sure they will see this . Definitely must be new owners cuz this place isn't the same .
The pizza waiting was too long. By the time it is ready i started to have throbing headaches. Also the quality of puzza was not what i imagined. It was just a dry piece of pizza with toppings on it. I ordered chicken on my pizza but it was scarce; hardly found two pieces. Really annoying experience with the price paid.
Employees were friendly. Calamari was super spicy and more batter than the Calamari itself. Otherwise the price is decentFood: 4/5
