Par & Grill

The food was excellent, I had the seafood chowder so good lots of seafood in the chowder. The fried mushrooms was good just right. My daughter had the taco salad she said it was excellent. Would recommend Par & Grill to anyone for an wonderful meal at decent prices.

The food was decent, your typical pub fare. However, the service was sub-par. I'm not a local, so don't know if my experience is typical, but the food was extremely slow coming out of the kitchen. I visited while on business, so dined alone, and it took nearly two hours to order, get my meal and cash out. I waited 45 minutes just for my check after checking on it more than once. When it came back, the tip had already been entered as the same amount as my meal (even spectacular servers don't get 100% gratuity). Being fed up at this point, I walked it to the bar for correction and was responded to with a great deal of attitude and zero apology. I wont be back the next time I'm in town.
