The BEST Beef Arepa!! Staff was ridiculously nice and helpful, my hubby has dairy allergies and my sis is Vegan, they were so patient and so helpful, it was like eating home with family. My favorite restaurant thus far. Can’t wait to return. Strongly recommend it!!!
Visited their food truck and ate at home. Delicious gluten free arepas! Had the pork arepa w spicy cilantro sauce. Spicy cilantro is the way to go. Pork is seasoned well and very flavorful — cilantro sauce just adds more complexity. They also have gluten free empanadas.
My partner is Venezuelan, so I've had the privilege to try authentic, homemade foods. THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL - we got a little bit of everything: tequeño y guava, reina pepiada, pabellon, arepas, and empanadas. The curry sauce and cilantro sauce similar to guasacaca are delicious and go on everything. All the food was hot, fresh, tasty, and filling. Great bang for your buck! There's a tiny market at the Kent location that sells candy bars, PAN mix for cachapas, but they do not currently sell hot cacahpas, Venezuelan soda frescolita, and Toddy hot chocolate mix. If you want to try authentic hispanic food or like fried food, please give this place a chance!
I love this place. Anything you choose on their menu is going to be wonderful, and my favorite part is their CONSISTENCY. The food is ALWAYS good each of the nearly 20 times I have been here. I cannot recommend them enough. Support local, family-owned businesses with quality food and you will never be disappointed
I really enjoyed the food from here. I have never had Venezuelan food before and it was delicious. The tropical rice was fruity and the meat and beans paired extremely well with the fried plantains.
Every single item I ordered was phenomenal, but never before in my life have I eaten beans and audibly exclaimed because they were so good. This place is outstanding, go.Food: 5/5
I had Arepa Shredded Beef, it was nice, never had one before. Wife had the Pabellon plate but couldn't finish it, seemed old and refried and extra greasy.not sure what are venezuelan friend had but she said she'll never eat there again.Food: 2/5
I have been here a few times and I still don't know why there isn't a line out the door. Firstly, the food is wonderful, it seems like it may be a little pricey for one arepa, but these are stacked and very filling. The beef arepa and the beef arepa with plantains are very good. The pork arepa and the bean and cheese arepa were good too, but were really helped by the sauce. Get the mango or guava juice, fantastic! Secondly, the staff is very nice and tolerate my poor attempts at speaking Spanish, but switch to English to ensure I'm getting what I think I ordered. Lastly, let's be honest, the non-chain restaurant choices in Kent can be poor and I am just so thankful to have such a great place in this location. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available
Every time I see their food truck I get extremely excited. The arepas are extremely delicious! I’m literally in love and all the food is wow! Definitely a must try!
I wasn't sure what to think when my kid first gave me an empanada from here. It looked like a bloated corndog and had all the give of a fried rock with some fast food style sauce packets on the side. But all it took was a couple of bites and I was hooked. The cheese empanada is sort of like a cheese stuffed corndog, slightly sweet and crunchy with a back taste of tamale. The cilantro mayo went well with it. Very addictive. I also tried the pabellon criollo. I'm normally not a fan of beans since I've always thought they just bulked out a plate but these beans--oh my God. These black beans that look like plain black beans from a can? These are amazing beans and I want a whole bowl of them. Totally worth every penny. All their food is excellent, and I'll be stopping in whenever I'm in the area. I just wish they had more locations.
