"PAPA VINCE PIZZA is locatedin Thorold. We opened March 4th 1985, in the midst of a snow storm. As an 8 year old boy, I remember my mom, dad, aunts and uncles all working so hard. A 12 slice pizza 1 topping for $4.99 special kick started our opening day and there was no limit to how many you could order. We had a line up out the door, and ended up running out of product. So you could say that was a good sign of things to come. We have always taken pride in making great quality home made pizza and subs, using fresh ingredients and mom’s home made touch!. In 2004, the opportunity came for me to take over the family business, and I couldn’t be more proud to keep our family tradition going. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website."

I’m not one to complain about food I usually just deal with it , but by far this was the worst take out order of food I’ve ever recieved. Steak subs had what looked like the left over steak on the flat top and hardly any on the sandwich bun was stale and hard one slice of cheese , chicken finger order they tasted like the smell of butane and fries weren’t cooked ,chicken sub was a mess with no ingredients asked for and the other steak sub had burnt to no steak in it and bun was also stale. Called back and the young gentleman was nice but said just all young guys here no one I charge to make any decisions. No one ate any of the food it was not edible. J.tanham called cause he knew you to see what was going on ,I ordered and paid for it ,he left his name on the receipt for you to call him back , no new food or money back
I have lived in multiple cities across Canada, and can confidently say that Papa Vince is the best pizza! They're very accommodating to specific requests with regards to their pizza, their subs, and their wings. And their Bad Boy Subs are the best steak subs I have ever had! I did have one experience when I ordered through Door Dash where my steak subs were burnt, and were lacking steak. It was difficult customer service when dealing with the third party, however I would recommend Papa Vince to anyone in the Niagara region! except order for pickup, not through Door Dash.
It was our first time and two thumbs up! Great wings, crest crust, not too saucy. Thank you, we will be back for sure!
Without a doubt the worst steak sub in the area for the price. More lettuce than steak, couldn’t pick out a single mushroom. and for $11.71 barely one full slice of tomato on the entire sub. Called after getting home and eating this sub and was informed each sub has a 1/4 of meat...there’s absolutely no way. If at all, the entire sub weighed in at 1/4 pound, seriously!
I Frequently order from this business. We have had every size of the Steak Sub, numerous times! Last night we order a Coronary 3/4 lb but was clearly sent a Bad Boy 1/4 lb. When I called, I was told there is nothing they can do. Beyond disappointing!
The only place I've ordered pizza and it's really good so I don't think I'll be going anywhere else anytime soon. I really like the taste of the dough itself, there's a generous amount of cheese and the prices are really affordable especially compared to other fast food options. The only downside is that they don't open until 4 pm.
This place is a staple of Thorold. It's been in business for decades. That should speak to the quality of the food. I haven't strayed from pizza and wings except for panzeroti. All very good. Little pricey hence the 3 stars
Best pizza I have had in years! My first time ordering from here and I was very very pleased. Great serve, great price and honestly the best tasting pizza I have had in years. Bravo.
My family has been ordering pizza here every week for several years now. The puffy crust is delightful and their tomato sauce is amazing their wings and garlic bread are great too!. When we order from Papa Vince Pizza we know EXACTLY how it's going to taste every single time. They are impressively and reliably consistent, unlike any other pizza place I've ordered from. The staff has always been super friendly in our experience, too.
We moved to Thorold a few weeks ago and have been going around and trying all of the pizza places and we can say with confidence that this is one of the best spots we have tried so far. The pizza was amazing with great flavor at a reasonable price. The space to pick up is a little crammed and no parking which makes it a bit difficult but other then that was an overall good experience.
