We went here out of a whim and tried their hot sandwiches, it was really surprising how good it was. Their sandwiches seemed to be made on homemade bread, they were well balanced and full of flavor. I'm glad I live near it.

We are so grateful to the owner and staff at this outstanding establishment. Our car broke down about 6 miles from Wendell, ID. We had the car towed and Papa Kelsey's let us park out back and wait inside for 3 hours while a family member was driving to come pick us up. They helped us to set up plug-ins for our cell phones and computers and even brought us out a plate of freshly baked cookies. Who does that anymore? Where can you find such nice people like this? I'll tell you, in Wendell, ID, where people still treat others like human beings, especially when they are in need. To top it all off, we ordered a pizza and it was DELICIOUS! Next time we're on our way to Boise, we'll be passing in for another slice!
