"Papa Baldy’s started in 2016. It was the dream of Papa Baldy John Winterbottom and he and his wife took the opportunity when it came up to open a pizza restaurant. From the start their vision was to create the best pizza in Red Deer that they could make, using natural ingredients, fresh vegetables daily, dough rolled onsite, and their own cheese blend. Even through the tragic death of Papa Baldy in October 2017, Papa Baldy’s continues to thrive after support from friends and customers for Aileen to continue the dream. We love being part of this community and we thank the residents of Red Deer for their patronage."

Came into Papa's for the first time today to try something new, with a lady as nice as Cassidy working the till placing my order was easy. On top of the great customer service, Spencer made our food efficiently. It's safe to say I've never had a pizza taste so good. Keep up the good work Baldy's crew!!
We haven’t order from here for some time, but was absolutely thrilled that we did. We had a meat lovers and a taco pizza. The taco pizza was the best I’ve had in a very long time and the meat lovers was very good as well, just could have used a little more cheese, but overall definitely a five star. We’ll be back again soon.
Ordered pickup, had the mac N cheese & the tropical Hawaiian pizzas. The first one was delicious. The Tropical Hawaiian was okay, the BBQ sauce was very runny and caused all the toppings to slide off. A tad on the pricy side, but they were still good, will go back again.

Ordered online tonight and was quoted a pickup time. We were there before that time and sat down to wait. Got our food 20 minutes after that time but I'm pretty sure most of the order sat for that time as it was cold when we went to eat it. The crust does not taste fresh like it used to and a lot of the ingredients aren't as good quality as they used to be. The cinnamon sticks were horrible and used to be my favorite thing. Really disappointed with how downhill it has gone since Papa Baldys moved out of West Park.
Nastiest pizza in red deer lil ceasers can help you for cheaper and make your pizza proper, every pizza I’ve gotten here has been burnt to black crisp or has been lackin or completely messed up, 40 bucks for 30 percent chance of a good pizza, gamble that at the casino instead your chances there are 50/50!!! save your cash and eat proper fam!!
It was okay but not much better than the minimum quality of pizza I would continue to consume simply to not waste food or money. They seem to have some type of nostalgic cult following which I don't understand because it's not anything special. Probably will never try it again.Food: 2/5
Great pizza, loaded with toppings and delivered sorry quick. I did find their order online app confusing but when they called to confirm we were able to get everything figured out.Food: 5/5
Thought I’d give this place a try, complete waste of time and money, found a curly hair in my cheese bread looked like a pube, obviously it wasn’t but I’m sure you can tell how the rest of my meal went, simply you can taste the lack of care this place has. If you want dental floss with every meal choose papa Baldy’s, they over cheese there food because that’s the only flavour they care to give, CHEESE AND FACIAL HAIR.? I’m so disappointed
It wasn't too bad, the pizza was fluffy and the sauce was good. The only thing I'd change is putting the veggies on the top of the pizza to cook proper. They were under the cheese and this made it so they didn't cook. The tomatoes and onions were not cooked and it made a mess of the pizza. More cheese would be beneficial as well.
