Panchvati Supermarket is one of my favorite South Asian grocery stores in Markham! The store is clean, organized, and stocked with a great variety of groceries, fresh produce, and pantry essentials. What really stands out is their fresh food and bakery section. The dhokla, samosas, patties, bun kabobs, idli, and fresh rotis are always delicious and taste homemade. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for quality South Asian groceries and freshly prepared foods in Markham!
I had a great experience at Panchavati today. One of the best groceries to get Indian items like Pooja items, snack, small meals and etc. I tried the Dahi puri, dabeli and sugarcane juice at Panchavati Markham and everything was very delicious and really tasty. The highlight was the Dabeli as it was so scrumptious and was something to die for and get again and again and that sugarcane juice as it washed down all that food and was something sweet and delicious. The ambiance of the groceries shop was really neat and clean with everything well organized like vegetables, pooja items, snacks aisle and etc and also the live chaat station. The staff were very friendly towards us during my visit to Panchavati. Would definitely visit again and try the food again. Everyone should come here!!! Really worth it and also one of the best South Asian grocery shop in Markham, Toronto.
A spacious, conveniently located Indian store has tons of options to choose from. It has got fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices.nnIt has you covered with items such as Idli, Dosa batter, Indian mithai, namkeen. The frozen section has lots of tempting authentic food items.nnThe store is nicely stocked and organized. Prices are reasonable. Products of different brands, including their store brand name, are there to select from.nnPuja items and kitchen stuff are there. Local regional items can be found in pickles, rice, lentils, snacks, and flour.nnA live food counter is inside the store to try such as paani puri, chaat. Khaman, samosas, spring rolls, and many more food items are there.
The golgappa at Pachvati was sooo good! Super crispy and the pani was perfectly spicy and chatpata. Tasted just like proper Indian street food. Definitely going back for more!
I was at Panchvati this afternoon & bought their ready to eat Idly, I specifically asked the lady at the fresh food counter if these Idlys were made fresh today & she replied yes. I came home & wanted to eat it as an evening snack. The first bite told me it was not freshly baked. It was all dried out. The sticker on the box is of today but the Idlys were definitely not made today. I've heard this many times from other people, that they play around with dates. Well I guess they are not wrong now that I experienced it myself. Extremely sad that retailers have come to cheating in any way they can just to make a buck... Terrible Panchvati at least be honest, especially when someone has asked you a direct question.... A picture is attached showing today's date.. I broke a piece & put it back in the box to throw...
