My experience at this Panago pizza really blew me away today. The staff was warm and friendly, the Head Chef, Sam, made jokes that were tasteful, appropriate for my family, and completely hilarious. He made us feel completely at home while we waited pateintly for our hand tossed pizza. The pizza itself was a real treat to the senses, and fun to watch be made, too! The quality of the crust was far beyond anything I have experienced anywhere in North America. And rivalling Italy, who would have thought?! And Sam who runs the front has the customer service skills of a hotel manager at the four seasons. Five stars just isn't enough. To top it all off, after our lovely interaction, he insisted that I don't tip, because serving me was a treat in itself What a charmer! And served me my fresh wings with a beautiful flower in it. My breath has been taken. I don't usually leave reviews, but this was a truly unique experience. It's so nice to see people spreading some wonderful positivity in such a troubling time in the world. Thank you Cramer and Sam, and thank you Panago!
Great service. They were considerate of my pick-up time. Made sure they didn't prepare my pizzas too early. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Terrible rude staff, bad tasting pizza, no respect for repeat tipping customers whatsoever. Truly putting the Panago name to shame. This establishment should be closed up. They must hold on to ingredients way too long because their pizzas taste off when compared to other Panago locations. Truly dissatisfied, won’t be ordering again till I move to another part of town and get a new location to order from.
It is situated in the marine drive in west Vancouver. I used to be a regular customer of this store. I loved their veggie pizzas. But then their quality went down a lot. It tasted terrible. When we tried to talked to them about the quality and taste of their pizzas, they became very rude. I tasted their pizzas for a long period and I also order them from different locations, it does not taste like this. I never expected this from this store. I am giving one star with a heavy heart.
The Hawaiian pizza I ordered from the West Vancouver Panago was terrible. I envisioned an old-fashioned Hawaiian pizza with slices of ham and chunks of pineapple, cheese, and a slightly spicy tomato sauce. What I received was a minced mixture of ham cut into tiny cubes smaller than 1/4" surrounded by tiny cube of pineapple, also smaller than 1/4". The mixture looked like minced pineapple and ham. IT WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING, UNAPPETIZING, UNAPPEALING PIZZA I have ordered in my lifetime of 55 years of adulthood. It tasted like minced garbage that I wouldn't feed to a pig. UPDATE: I will give Panago credit for responding to my bad review of their Hawaiian pizza. I have not yet contacted them, but will give another update after I do.
I ordered a pepperoni classic and noticed in the store that they were giving me a ham and pineapple. This was due to panago changing the name of their pizzas and not really their fault. They totally fixed the mistake and were very kind and generous and it turned out to be a good experience. My thanks to them for their quick fix and kind manners. I must apologize as I was more upset initially than I needed to be. Tiring week but no excuse.
I have always loved Panago, even from back when it was Panagopolis. Thick but somewhat light crusts, high quality toppings, lots of cheese... and dips. What an amazing idea, dips for pizza crusts! Whoever bright on that idea and expanded it to where it is at should be made a saint. Their website is great for ordering through - I see no faults there - but even just walking into the store gets your food made quickly. Great prices for lunch, great sizes for dinner. As far as any pizza chains go, I rank Panago as #1.
Last night we had a most delicious pizza, from the West Van location on Marine Drive, delivered promptly and hot, exactly as we had ordered it, overflowing with cheese and sauce, with a thin crispy crust, it was a real 10/10!! Thank you!
Good place for take out no space for dine in.it is a good to grab the pizza for your picnic day or beach day.
They do not wear a mask while in store or cooking your pizza. Buyer beware. There is also a man who paces in the front area speaking on his phone regularly - without a mask. These do not follow panago or BC policy.
