Came here for my wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very quaint and decor is quite pretty. It seems popular as it was pretty full on a Tuesday night. There is a street terrasse pictured but also another in the back did not visit it but could see people seated from my table. The employees were very friendly, the service was very fast and the food very good. Portions were perfect: we shared 2 appetizers and each ordered a main dish. Prices for the appetizers were a little higher than I expected for the portions received as compared to other restaurants. I enjoyed the evening very much and would definitely recommend.
The two of us went here last night, to celebrate my birthday and it was a great dinner experience ! We sat on the outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant, in a very cute space. Our server was very welcoming.....like all the other staff....she spoke mostly french but did her best with a little English. The food was delicious, we shared our plates like she suggested we do. The dishes were tasty, some simple, but packed with flavour. We will be returning to this spot for sure, and bringing some friends along, next time to share the experience with. We had the BKK Rolls, Galloping Horse for starters Followed by the Stir-fried dishes - Pork Belly & Chinese Kale and Manpu Fried Rice with Shrimps With the Mango Sticky Rice for desert Happy with our choices Thank you for a great evening .
Tom Kha Kai is exotic, creamy and tangyin a good way. Tom Yum is also amazingly aromatic and flavorful. My partner loves Pineapple Fried Rice. The only thing is desserts are a bit overpriced, would be great either in a larger portion or at a lower price of around $10. Overall, nice food, nice place, nice staff. Will visit again.
I went there Valentine’s Day weekend and WOW, this place is truly a hidden gem! Apparently they’ve been open for 10 years?!!! When I tell you that everything was absolute perfection!! From the service, the people, the ambiance, the decor, the drinks and of course the food!! My sister had told me to go there especially for the duck salad and obviously it did not disappoint along with everything else we had. The chef was also very accommodating with my egg allergy which was very appreciated! For a first authentic Thai food experience, it did not disappoint. Every single item was delectable! I’ll go back again for sure
The staff is attentive and polite. Beautiful ambience. The food was delish!!! The papaya salad is a bit spicy and tangy, but too good to miss. The Manpu fried rice is a definite must try. Would recommend making a reservation.
This is a little hidden gem in Montreal. Food is tasty and fresh; the duality between sweet & spicy is executed in a symphony of flavours. Inside, the restaurant is warm and cozy. Yes, don’t be afraid of the spiciness of the dishes. They have been elaborated to add taste that pleasantly swirls around your mouth. The staff is friendly and very communicative, ensuring that your experience is up to your expectations. We started with Bangkok rolls, crispy on the outside and savoury on the inside. In addition, note they were fried to perfection and didn't feel oily. We continued with the seafood salad that we finished in a breeze! This was our favourite dish of the evening; it tasted fresh with a splash of tangy to elevate our taste buds. This was followed by the Manpu fried rice, containing a good amount of shrimp. While the dish was good and satisfied our expectations, it didn’t feel as exciting after having the seafood salad. To pursue the evening, we were served the crispy pork. With a spicy degree of 3 out of 4, we expected our taste buds to explode with spiciness. And that wasn’t present, unfortunately. However, it doesn’t take away that we relished this dish fighting on whoever got the last bite. As for the cocktails, we had the Bangkok delight and the Mojithai. The Mojithai is a perfect example of the duality of the tangy and sweet taste this restaurant combines so well. We suggest reserving a spot at the restaurant instead of just showing up. This will provide a better chance for you to get a spot inside this tasty place.
Food’s really tasty, waiter was friendly and full of advices. Menu is short and I think this is a great thing! Lots of love in the dishes. I really enjoyed this disco-funk music in the background!
I used to go to the Sherbrooke Bistro one but it was really hard to get a reservation there, so I was glad they opened a new one even nearer to me. Excellent service and food as good as always. Absolutely loved the duck salad A little bit pricey but worth it if you want to try authentic Thai food
This was my first experience here after having heard about this place from multiple friends. The food was good and was decently priced. The ambience is inviting and cozy. Unfortunately, the service was below expectations. It was a Tuesday and the restaurant was half full. Our order was taken promptly but that was all we heard from the waiter afterward. Our waters were not filled at all during the dinner and the plates were not taken off our table until much later. This was while many other tables were being served water and their orders. A waiter came with water only to half fill two out of our 6 glasses which was a little insulting. It seemed a little odd considering we were very close to the kitchen and were a larger group. It was an unfortunate first experience despite the food being on point.
5 stars for the food and the busgirl. Not a fan of the concept of being served as food get ready, instead of having everything at once. 4 start for late drinks yet delicious. 4 stars for our server who forgot our dessert although it was the first thing we ordered, and could’ve checked on our table more.
