Nice change of pace from the parks in the city! Festivities every Canada Day. We come here every year in the summer just to get a different view of scenery. You can picnic in the large area of grass, or walk near the downtown area where there's lots of local restaurants and little shops to find unique items. Very clean, very safe and the locals are very pleasant to deal with. Only a 15 min drive from Oshawa and surrounding area; worth the gander!

There is one baby swing, a regular swing, and even a swing for a child with a disability! Lots of benches and close parking for parents. Love the view of the water. Sometimes there is a portable potty in the summer but the library is closed enough to walk to if you need to use the bathroom.

One of the most natural picnic parks in Ontario. Good family outting spot. Local restaurants. Franchise fast food are all very local.

Absolutely lovely by the water on a nice day. Downtown Port Perry is within walking distance. Wonderful place for a picnic.

It's a lovely place to relax on the weekends with your family. There are enough benches you can comfortably sit down on to watch the beautiful Lake Scugog. In winter, there is a good maintained ice rink on the other side of the Quenn Street. You can either go iceskating yourself or just take a seat at the nice patio and look other play hockey. And if you get hungry, there is plenty of nice places you can reach by foot within few minutes.
