High tea at the Ritz Carlton was cozy. A little pricey, but it's really all about the experience. If you're okay paying $170 with a 20% tip included in this amount for 2 people, then I suggest you do it. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is gorgeous. The tea selection is amazing. Try the Perfectly Pear tea or the Peaches & Cream. Very nice aroma and tasty. Finger sandwiches are delectable and the desserts are perfectly sweet, not over sweet like many other high tea experiences I've tried.
Whether you just want a nice place for a drink or high tea or a light meal, this place is gorgeous. You need to come just to take in the painted ceiling! And the service is amazing. Welcoming and completely attentive.Food: 5/5
Very relaxed environment for tea and cake. There were quite a few empty tables, not all were reserved, and was seated right at the entrance facing the inside - was a bit impersonal. Staff were attentive and kind. The cake with the basil cream was stellar - highly recommended. Has a seasonal flair to the menu. Went for afternoon tea with the family to celebrate Mother's Day and had a lovely time. Due to food intolerances, I got the vegan option and it was so delicious! I also got a jasmine mimosa, which was refreshing. The staff is so friendly, service is top notch and they are so good with kids! One of the hosts brought my kids to the little garden area so they could look at the baby ducks.
We had a great time at my friend’s bridal shower. Everything: staff, food, tea, ambiance, decor was amazing. Dietary restrictions: Accommodating
We went for high tea services. No wonder Ritz is famous for services The high tea food is really good. The scones are amazing!! We also had the Jasmin momosa! What should I say! Amazingly good!!! So good! We will definitely go back again!! The only downside is it is really near the front door. So whentheh opened the door it is a bit cold...
I can tell here is the best afternoon tea place you can have in Montreal. We went there on the Christmas eve and it was our best choice. You will enjoy everything including the atmosphere and services. We had a very enjoyable timeRecommended dishesTea Time
My buddy and I, surprised our wives with this historic high tea. Quite the experience. Honestly, high tea is not my thing but it was a cool experience I'm their elegant hall. Most importantly, the wives loved it. Special thanks to Ritz for squeezing us in to a sold out sitting.
I tried this for afternoon tea and to be honest nothing to write home about and the scones are below basic. The tea selection took 3 tries before I accepted it. Then I was too tired to go out to dinner and tried to eat dinner there. The food selection is very limited. For those lactose intolerant, forget it! everything has a cream sauce, probably bc the chef can’t cook. I hence ordered a steak bc how can they screw up a steak? Mind you I stopped eating meat a long time ago! But it was the only option that didn’t have a cream sauce and isn’t a sandwich. I asked for a medium cooked steak, first one came well done and guess what! the second one came out well done as well. I lost interest and left bc this is ridiculous! The staff however are very nice! But if you don’t have good quality food cooked right then please get a new chef! Very disappointing!
If you are looking for an glamorous afternoon tea service ,the Palm Court at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal delivers an experience that is beyond service excellence. The ambience is very classy, quiet and very elegant. Our hostess was fantastic and professional, she talked us through the experience before we were served our food and fine selection of tea. We had the best, most relaxing two hours of tea and champagne service . My husband is British, he is well acquainted with the crème de la crème of afternoon tea services in London and he thoroughly enjoyed the tea service here. The Palm Court turns into a bar / lounge in the evenings, so you can stay on after tea for a lively atmosphere served with the best cocktails. Whenever I’m craving for a glamorous afternoon tea, I would happily fly down to Montreal and book the service at the Ritz-Carlton, it’s simply the best!
