The Paintrock Inn and Cabins was originally established in 1903, in Hyattville, Wyoming, perched on the bank of the Paintrock Creek in the heart of town.
The Paintrock Inn was originally established in 1903 in Hyattville, Wyoming, in the heart of some of the most serene land, clear mountain streams, and plentiful hunting grounds imaginable. The site of over 10,000 years of continuous habitation today houses a friendly ranching community that enjoys tourism all year round. Our place is nestled at the western edge of the Big Horn Mountains on the banks of Paintrock Creek and a stone's throw from miles and miles of Public Lands (BLM and Forest Service), as well as the Medicine Lodge State Park and Archaeological Site - where you can walk through pre-history and view petroglyphs and pictographs.
Over the last century, the Paintrock Inn has provided a place to have a good meal or a good rest - for stage coaches, cattle drivers, auto-tourists and RVers. We hope to continue that tradition with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere; lovely food, and a comfortable place to rest when you visit our little corner of Wyoming.
