First 2 photos is the first time I went vs. yesterday's. I loved it the 1st time. Edit: Yesterday I came back after a while and the food was so disappointing. These are our wings vs the wings I ordered last time I went. Burnt wings even the garlic parmesan weren't golden. My sons kids meal dry,fries were dark and cold. I don't even know how the waitress brought that plate to the table. We ordered a side of cornbread but never got it but was put on the bill I order no carrots extra celery with the wings and still got the carrots. I don't know if she wasn't paying attention or was just careless. We didn't say anything but we left disappointed. I felt bad because I was bragging about the food with friend and she ate there for the first time.
Very busy decor, but it has a lot of charm. Drinks are great, bar is well stocked, but again, I wish they had absinthe or chartreuse. Common complaint around here: they look at you like you're from Mars if you ask for it sometimes. To be fair, I*am* from Mars, but still. Anyway, they don't have much on the menu that is vegan, but I crash here once a month with coworkers and it's always been a nice experience. I recommend it.
We had amazing experience at Packard's with great food and excellent service! We rented a room upstairs for the after party for our wedding and the team was extremely helpful and professional. I would recommend them for both a casual night out or an event!
If you expect food in a timely manner Do Not go here! The steak tips were gross. They couldn't make a sauce to go with steak tips without mushrooms. Again food took forever. The fries were sogy and cold. Mind you i have only ever given a 2 star review once. We spent $168. For 5 people with a tip. Just a total disappointing experience.
Easily rented out a billiards table for the night. Drinks were made quickly even at peak hour on New Years. Touch tunes on multiple levels so you get to hear your music more often.
We held a holiday party here at Packard's, and everyone had a blast! Meg was amazing. The food was delicious. The billiards and patron-controlled music capabilities made it super fun. Definitely recommend Packard's!
Drinks were kind of meh, apps were definitely frozen and then fried because it was still cold, entrees we're also subpar and not worth the price. I've been here before and it was fine, but seems to have gone downhill. Service was slow and not super kind but she was definitely just stressed out since it seems she was the only server on a Saturday night with a concert playing in town.
I'm giving this place five stars because it is one if not the only late night places to eat in Northampton. The "special" on the menu seemed as though it was cooked from scratch. Packard's is a museum of all the stores and restaurants signs that have not made it as long as Packard's. Being at here brings back fond memories of past local establishments. Keep it going!
Great eclectic decor at this staple in downtown Northampton. Lunch specials are priced around $8 a plate. I got the soup and sandwich and had leftovers! Really tasty. My friend had the chicken caesar wrap and enjoyed it very much. Huge selction of beer. Full bar. Quiet during lunch. Many people like to do their laundry nextdoor and hit up the bar while waiting for loads to finish.
Got the bison burger, sweet potatoe fries, and Guinness draft.. was delicious! Huge variety of sauces for your fries or food try the Chipotle BBQ! Great list of beers offered. Great service and the whole staff is incredibly friendly and personable as you walk in and out of the establishment.
