Arrived at 06.30pm with a prebooked reservation. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front to even meet us and other customers!nnAsked for Olive Oil for toasted bread. Didn't come after 5 minutes. Then walked to the front reception - asked 2 people. They said 'sure - it's coming'. Waited another 10 minutes...by that time, toast was getting cold so went back to the grill area to keep it warm.nnOrdered mocktail. Bartender did not stir it at all - first sip and it was all sugary syrup. Yuck.nnOne entree was cold. Returned it and waited another 5 minutes for it to come out while everyone else eating.nnOrdered pizza with Vegan cheese. Extra $2.50. Couldn't even find where the cheese was.nnAsked for refill of the water bottle...server looked like it was just an inconvenience for her.nnDessert: waited 20 minutes for brownie with ice cream. Had enough time to take a 17 minute phone call and come back and still waiting.nnServers were 'busy' but also talking near the cash registers rather than serving. Had 4 different people come to our table - didn't know who was responsible.nnBill comes. Wanted to give 5% tip. Default is 15%...no clue how to change the %. So either 0% or 15% and so gave 15%.nn4 people with 4 mains, 1 mocktail, 1 wine, 1 pepsi, 1 dessert. Total with taxes $163. With that 15% tip $180. Crazy prices for very mediocre food and poor service.
The first time I went to Pacini was in chicoutimi.nnI desperately wanted to go back ever since.nnThis time in Quebec city did not want to miss the chancennOur toddler was with us and honestly the service was fabulous. Our waiter NICHOLAS was amazing and took care of every little detail.nnFood was solidnnAnd of course the grilled bread area is always the main attraction.
We were a group, the food came at different times, some people eated cold food. We asked for a pizza on the menu and they delivered something different. We had to argue with the waitress to get our food properly delivered. The bread was very good.
Best restaurant in the Lebourgneuf area near Galeries de la Capitale shopping mall area. Our family and friends had a great time. We were well received and served by NICOLAS TREMBLAY. We will return. Thank you.
Listen we are talking about PACINI here they are very special in a great way they have stuff others dont have and this place is the place to go for families and also for groups, friends etc realy a great resto, i love it...
