Food and service were top notch. But due to the wood fire oven, the dining area is very warm. Be prepared to uncomfortably warm if you are in more than a t-shirt. They do prop the door but not enough to bring the temperature down. Regardless, definitely worth it for the food!
This was a very big place and have a huge selection of pizzas and pastas. We needed reservations to get in and table was ready for us when we got there. Quick service and hospitable servers. Ordered penne aribitta pasta which was very fresh and delicious. Ordered gin and vermouth for my drink and it was very well prepared. Pizzas were very delicious as well. My whole group was very happy with their orders.
Service was okay, our server seemed nice but just doing her job. We got there just before the dinner rush, so it was not super busy. Aperol spritz was refreshing. Food could have been seasoned better, very bland. My boyfriend had the margarita pizza and chicken breast and I had the Gnocchi Tartufo, I should have just stuck with pizza because shortly after eating my stomach started hurting and did not feel good for the rest of the night.
I absolutely hate doing that but since the restaurant wasn’t really understanding why we were upset about our experience I wanna protect other people about going here. I also know it can be a “bad day in the kitchen, or people in training but every course was something wrong. We really wanted to eat good pasta but all we tastet was salt and sauce. We had obviously raw focaccia and the oil was served on a coffee/tea saucer?!? The ice cream was really bad and not served nice. 2 stars for the cute server that we had.
Excellent food. Service might be a little slow during the week at lunch time. The mushroom soup is absolutely delicious! The pizza crust is thin and crispy. The calzone have lots of filling.
Food and the service here is really great! i tried calamari fritti , mussels in white sauce and meatball pizza . Everything that I tried was amazing but, but the mussels…. Omg they were out of this world. I am coming back again mainly for the mussels !!!
Just a mediocre spot for pizza. Ordered via Uber eats and it came quite quick. The pepperoni pizza was okay… the crust was way too hard and inedible to eat. The pizza itself was fine with the cheese and pepperoni, but it was very oily and dripping in oil.
We ordered a Caprese pizza for taking out, hoping it would taste good enough for my cravings. I was wrong. The cheese they used was very oily; the pizza was burnt, salty and didn’t have enough tomato sauce. I don’t know how pizzas here ended up so bad; it wasn’t like this before. If you’re craving a delicious Caprese pizza, look at my review on another pizza joint. You won’t regret it if you’re okay with thin-crust pizzas.
Great pizza and pasta. No ketchup for fries though. Don’t expect any service also. Good Italian option after all.
Without question we will be back for our Family Pizza & Movie Night!!! Pacifico Pizzeria is a little hidden gem just around the corner from the Scotia Bank Theatre. We thought we would try out this restaurant for our pizza and movie night, and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the Vesuvio pizza that is loaded with pepperoni, hot Italian sausage, capicollo, Genoa salami, mozzarella & feta cheese, and my son and I shared the 5 Cheese Mushrooms with Truffles topped with caramelized mushrooms infused with truffles & truffle oil, layered with 5 creamy cheeses, with a very generous layer of arugula drizzled with a balsamic reduction on top. Our pizzas were made in a brick fired pizza oven which always makes the best tasting pizzas. Also, you must remember to have a glass of the Castello di Gabbiano: Sangiovese Italian Chianti that is mid-bodied, dry, with velvety tannins, flavours off licorice, spice, and red cherries.....it was a perfect pairing with our pizza, and absolutely wonderful.
