Story

Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital provides quality general medicine and surgery for small animals (including birds and reptiles), as well as emergency after-hours service.



We also offer services such as behavioural, diet and dermatological consults, and boarding and grooming services. We provide complete veterinary services suited to the needs of pets and their owners. We solve most veterinary conditions or provide referrals for specialized medical care.



Our doctors are happy to provide a second opinion, but please bring original medical records.



We also care about keeping your healthy pets healthy, providing wellness profiles and preventative medicine such as flea and heartworm medicines. We carry a variety of pet products, such as medical diet pet food and accessories from such quality brands as Eukanuba and Medi-Cal.

We are from out of town and had an accident with our pup over the weekend. We had them come in as an emergency and they were there within 10 minutes. Amazing people who really took care of our dog Sage. They did an amazing job talking us through what they were doing. Thank you so much for being there for our dog, and also us. Truly appreciated.
I was visiting Prince Rupert for a few days in December and of course my puppy decided to leap off a chair, break his leg, and start screaming. We rushed to this vet clinic and they took us in right away, set the leg and put it in a splint, gave us medicine, and referred us to a hospital in Calgary who could do the surgery my puppy needed. Really grateful to have that kind of emergency care just showing up out of nowhere in a town I was visiting! Puppy is all better now
You looked at my companion advised she be put down , and the night b4 I laid her to rest I am sent a happy birthday greeting welcome and we look forward to meeting her needs ....YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.. She was born June 10 2010 laid to rest February 10, 2023 . You did nothing but make a sad time even more devastating...
Paula Wiebe was so kind and gentle with our little dog and it was his first visit. He didnt mind her even poking him with a needle. Thank you Paula and your assistant.
The vet was absolutely amazing with my fur baby however the low score is for the price point. I have been doing regular vaccines for my pup and the price point has always been the same, $140 to $150 depending on what my little one needs. this is in Terrace and my family pays the same for their large dog in Smithers Now the next set of shots came up, exact same...I have a print out telling me what is needed and when...so I thought I would stay local as that would be nice to do, however the bill I received was $237. Quite the difference....the exam charge made the largest difference. I am sorry to say but I will go to Terrace for my next appt.
