Been to Downtown Snohomish well over a dozen times and can't believe we're just discovering Pace Kitchen now! It's located at Randolph Cellars, which is cozily decorated for the holidays. We ordered the Fall Panzanella with Burrata & Slow Braised Short Rib with roasted fall veggies. My mom normally does not like Crème Brûlée for some reason, but she really enjoyed Pace Kitchen's Crème Brûlée. And did I. We'll be dreaming about it for awhile. Loved the food and we'll be back for more! Came for a belated birthday meal, so the "first come first served basis, no reservations accepted" policy worked in my favor :
There is NOTHING like this anywhere in Snohomish county. The atmosphere feels classic and rich. The menu is not standard fare, very interesting choices. The bone marrow is an experience. It is outrageously delicious, fatty and rich, served with a roasted head of garlic and incredible bread. The creme brulee is delicious! Don't leave without trying that. I guess the one negative would be is that it is a bit steamy and the brick walls are pretty wet. Keep in mind that this is a kitchen! The steam is not going to stop me from several return visits. The food is THAT good.
Delicious food. Lamb ragu and duck breast risotto are both excellent. Good price for the quality.Food: 5/5
AMAZING food! So great to be able to do a wine tasting and have food available that is obviously chef inspired. I loved the whole concept- casual fine dining at its best, food that rivals high end restaurants, great service, and great wine! I can’t wait to go back!
Pace Kitchen approaches its dishes with a unique flair, and the results are amazing. I particularly loved the beet salad and pork belly. Everyone at our table was thrilled with everything we ordered. We couldn’t leave without trying the truffle popcorn recommended!. The owners were very attentive, which we appreciated. We’ll be back very soon!
Honestly, since I've moved from Seattle it has been hard to find quality food that isn't a boring upscale restaurant making the same steaks and burgers etc. Pace kitchen brings something different to Snohomish! Food is always super flavorful and fresh. Their house made pasta has the best texture and flavor, I find myself craving the braised lamb pappardelle quite often. Sadly it's off the menu but I enjoyed their duck breast with fresh seasonal mushroom risotto a lot. Their burrata with honey is so good and the bone marrow with roasted garlic cloves and sautéed mushrooms is to die for! I know it's hard for some people to get past eating bone marrow, I get it. But seriously. Try it. Also its just one guy making the food, so be patient. Drink wine. He gets food out pretty fast anyways. The wine from Randolph cellars is very tasty, even my husband enjoyed it. I loved that with the purchase of a bottle at your table they give the option of a sample flight for free! They make it quite affordable to try most of their wines. I look forward to my next visit to see whats new on the menu. And next time I go, I'll be sure to take pictures instead of immediately shoving it in my face. Thanks guys!
Delightful and Explorational. The owner made a great effort to find excellent ingredients and combine them in an exceptional manor. I had the lamb, the ravioli, and the Creme Brulee. This was my first time trying lamb. It was a little gamey and robust but went very well with the salad. The ravioli was cooked just perfectly; The ricotta balanced out the tomatoes and is a must try. Lastly the creme brulee, was to die for. The owner recommended the Syrah and the wine actually tasted different after eating the desert. In my opinion went very well with the winery setting. Every thing was very well plated and clean. It would be a great place to take someone that you want to impress. I didn't get a chance to see the patio outside but I am sure it makes for a great experience.
They make you get up and get your own water in plastic cups from the water machine which was very tacky being on a date. Short rib was super dry and hard to eat. We didn’t finish it and didn’t take the left overs home. We liked the crème brûlée and ravioli. Edit: short rib not spare rib*
Outstanding food, staff, and experience! We feel so lucky to have this place in town. Really cannot recommend it enough. The food is always delicious, beautifully plated, and very reasonably priced for this quality.
Fantastic food, paired with expensive and complex wine. Wonderful staff. Has a pool table and outdoor seating overlooking the Snohomish River.
