Selection of pastry is really small, took small size cookies (for 1.50$ ) should say - was not really impressed. Sainsbury's cookies in UK for 2 pound 5 pcs taste way much better.

so this little hidden pastry shop is a good one. here, madam A. whips out her daily pies, because yes that's what she mainly does, ranging from her perfect apple galette to the subtle but lovely grapefruit honey cake to a bourbon pecan pie to some cookies and pet de soeur, just to name a few. while i wasn't a big fan of the cookie (too thick), the pies have been excellent. to the perfect crust (flaky, crispy, a slight sweetness, load of buttery flavor and tender AF) to the right ratio of filling to crust so that every bite, you get crust and filling, in perfect harmony. the apple filling is tender while retaining its shape with a subtle hint of cinnamon. the pecan filling is sweet and nutty with a touch of alcohol while the grapefruit honey is simply divine. the subtle sweetness of the honey with the acidic and fresh slices of grapefruit and the biteful pomegranate to give that textural contrast. every pie i've had so far has been a joyful experience. and there's coffee (from le brûloir) and warm milk to wash it all down. she also sells tiny jar of marmalade and caramel spread if pies weren't already enough
