P.F. Chang's

The was a horrible experience. No one came to our table till we were there for about 15 minutes. It was my husband's birthday and I asked the host at the front to let my server know so she could bring out a dessert and she never gave the waitress the message so the surprise got ruined. I am celiac so the hostess said she would tell our server but she never did. There were no utensils or napkins at our table. We had to ask her three times before someone brought the napkins and utensils. By this point, our starter and my daughter noodles were cold and I had to feed my daughter her noodles by hand because I had no utensils. We had ordered a third item but it was not brought out till we asked twice and it had been about 40 minutes since the first two items came out. Considering this such a nice restaurant and the food is good the service was a huge disappointment.

We went to this place thinking it'd be good like it's US branches. My God..were we wrong.. How the franchise was given over to such poor management and ownership is beyond me. They're just ruining the reputation. The food is just tasteless and pricey. Service was rude. Save your money and go to any of the many better Chinese places all over Montreal on St catherine or - better yet- China Town.

My husband and I love stopping by P.F. Chang's for a late dinner during the week. There is lots of free parking, we've never had to wait for a table, the service is always prompt & efficient, the atmosphere is quiet & relaxing and the food is delicious. To start, our favorites are the Dynamite Shrimp which are just the right amount of hot & spicy and and the pan-fried Chicken Dumplings with peanut sauce. We love to share the Sesame or Chang's Chicken and the Salmon & asparagus as our main dishes - though be sure to ask for the fish to be well-done if you don't want it to be too soggy. Only downside is that sometimes the food doesn't come out piping hot and then it's not so good... Make sure to save room for dessert, as ALL the desserts are scrumptious, but we especially love the chocolate dumplings and the fried bananas - though the portion for the bananas is really too big & heavy to have on your own, so it's best to share :-)

Food is decent. Glad that they did not butcher classic dishes from my own culture. Bit pricey but I guess half went to the decors. Service was SLOW. I don't know if the waiter is trying to be nice and not interrupt our table or something else. Most of the table were starving by the time the food arrived. And then we waited forever to just pay.

Food is great. I haven't seen much fancy Chinese restaurants in Canada, they are usually fast food. However, the price is WAY too expensive. $25 for a plate, and I would need 2 plates too be fully satisfied. Been here 3 times so far, and it was always pretty empty. I constantly cook their copycat recipes from the internet.
