Everyone from the receptionist, to the aid, to Dr. Martin himself, were very kind and professional. Two wisdom teeth removed, zero pain. In and out of there, paperwork and all, in about 40 minutes. I'll definitely be coming back for any dental needs.
Today i am singing the praises of Kristen, a hygienist at Owyhee Family Dental. To preface: the more I advance in age, and seek specialized services--whether by plumber, tree-trimmer, or dentist--the more sensitive I become to the experience, and in particular two areas of that experience, which are really two sides of the same coin. First, that person's dedication to their art/craft/specialty; and second, how I am treated by them as another human--and especially when the "thing" to be worked on happens to be me. Kristen knocked it out of the park in every way. I hadn't seen a dentist in 30 years, so I was a bit nervous, but Kristen put me at ease from the get-go. She had the patience of Job, first by taking her time answering all my silly questions in depth, and then thoroughly explaining her tools and procedures needed to remove the gobs of calculus from my not-so-white chiclets. During that process, her first concern and priority was with my level of comfort, as opposed to simply rushing through things just to get it done, and thereby taking me for granted. Even though she was the hygienist and I was the patient, I felt there was no division, but instead, a mutual respect and caring--the kind you'd expect from a friend, or big sister. In other words, she was the consummate professional! Mind you, that was only my second visit to Owyhee Family Dental, but Dr Martin, the ladies at the helm--and entire staff--were also equally as warm, friendly, and professional. Kudos to all parties concerned!
I have had a life long fear of dentists. Dr. Martin and his team completely blew me out of the water! Comfort. Grace and compassion are just a few words I can use to brag about them. I definitely will not hesitate in going back for any of my dental needs. Thank you Dr. Martin as well as your team for everything you did!!
Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The doctor is very nice, gentle and thorough. The office is clean. I will recommend this office highly.
Dr. Jeppe and his staff are honest and caring. Dr. Jeppe has integrity and gives suggestions based on the best care for a patient, not how much money he can make. Because of the moral character of Dr. Jeppe, and the wonderful girls that took care of me yesterday, I’ll only be going to him in the future for any dental “fun” his office can provide : And to paint a little mental picture.......I hadn’t been in the dentist chair for several years because of a horrible experience not from Dr. Jeppe’s office. I was literally trembling when I arrived. Because of the genuine care I received, from the moment I walked in the door, it only took a few minutes being in the chair for me to go from slightly terrified, to being completely comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Jeppe and his staff to anyone ages one to 100. Now it will be my son’s turn to see him and the girls :
When your tooth hurts there is only one thing you can do, call your dentist. I have been seeing them for years now. Dr.Jepp and Michelle Jepp Dental Hygienist are great. Bad news for tooth, root canal. No pain, next day no pain. Great job! Cost, very reasonable.
Dr. Martin was EXCEPTIONAL! He was able to help my issues with my teeth and was considerate of my finances. His thoroughness was very appreciated!!!
