The food is very good, always hot and fresh. This place is an institution, the customer service is great, always welcoming. The price is affordable. I'm not Korean, but the food feels very authentic. The place looks clean and well kept. It's open 24hrs a day. The spice level is good, not to hot put also not too mild, well seasoned. The few times I've been here it's been a good experience. Definitely recommend this place.

A bit pricey and the serving isn’t much. Food is good and fresh. Busy placez Customer service is okay, took them too long to serve and give us the menu. You really have to call their attention otherwise you won’t get served.

Owl of Minerva is the place to eat for anytime. I've been coming here for years. I love the food. I tried the soy Korean fried chicken since it was new. I liked it. They also had other flavors. I obviously keep going back and there are many other locations too.

The first thing that put me off the dine in area are the open trash cans and when guests leave they bring the big trash bag to the table and dump everything in it! Have never ever seen this in a dine in area! Service was quick but the restaurant looked like chaos everywhere so not a pleasant place to dine in. Staff is very courteous! Food servings were very small compared to the price and taste was very average for me personally. Have eaten much better.

Came here for a weeknight dinner. Small tables, no frills service, mediocre side dishes. My partner and I got pork bone soup. It came with rice and a few side dishes, which were not the best. The prices have definitely gone up at this restaurant, slightly higher than my favorite Korean joint downtown. Overall a consistent experience.

First time eating at this restaurant. Delicious food, great service. I recommend the BBQ beef ribs. I wish I have some now even though I just ate 30 minutes ago :

This is probably the best The Owl of Minerva location. For two people, I would highly recommend the Korean fried chicken with mozzarella cheese and Kimchi soup or pork bone soup. The restaurant is a bit small, and sometimes can be slow due to staff shortage, but the food is fantastic. If you don’t wanna wait, I would suggest to order takeout half an hour in advance.

Food is good, everything you'd expect from a typical Owl location. The reasons for missing 1 star: - the price is quite high, but quality or wow factor hasn't gone up relatively. - as seen on the picture, they are only using disposable cutlery and plating. When you sit in at a Korean place and order a gamjatang, you expect a boiling rock bowl. So this has cheapened everything and ruined the experience. I understand they want to avoid hiring a dishwasher during this time, but it's not reflected back in the price. And it's competitors don't have to resort to that. And plastic spoon and bowl for a boiling hot soup, just doesn't feel right. If it weren't for pandemic, I would have given less stars for this experience.

My first time at the famous owl of Minerva. Always heard about here and it didn’t disappoint it. Restaurant is simple causal dining. Everything we had was excellent. Very tasty and rich in flavour. You get house kimchi, cucumbers and bean sprouts as starters. It was very good. The kimchi is strong but tasty and the cucumber and bean sprouts balance it nicely. Will visit again.
