A fabulous library experience. The staff breaks all of the "crusty librarian" stereotypes of yore. Everyone is warm and inviting and incredibly helpful. The children's area and its staff and programming is the best I've ever encountered and we've visited a multitude libraries in major cities and small towns alike. This library is a true gem!

Great staff and amazing selection of of books, but if you're going for a wifi hotspot, go somewhere else. I tried downloading a game from steam and my download speed dipped below 500bytes/s a couple of times, and the rest of the time it was no higher than 50KB/s or 60KB/s. I would honestly recommend using Tim Horton's wifi before you come here.

This is a wonderful library. The old part was restored to its former glory several years ago and is historic, warm and welcoming. Staff are always helpful and the local history section is fantastic. I don't live in OS any more but I miss it and the library is one of the reasons why.
