Spent new years eve with family and rented the cabin. Beautiful little hideaway. Big ass bonfire by the lake outdoor rink for skating. You could literally take your auger and walk in ten minutes and ice fish. Cabin is perfect for two family's so very affordable.
Came here to rent kayaks for a quick paddle in the afternoon.nWe called ahead so the owner was available and waiting for us, otherwise she tends to other properties and sites and isn’t always at the pick up site. So I recommend doing the call ahead.nThe site has life jackets if you don’t have your own, she lets you pick which kayak style you prefer from their stock.nWe picked two basic sit atop kayaks.nQuality of kayaks and gear is excellent.nThe price is very good also, we had no complaints.nWe launched at the dock there, but it seems like we had the option to go to any other lake with the kayaks as well.nIt was a great short paddle, the lake is a lot longer than it seems.nWould return and rent again!
Such a beautiful, peaceful spot! Our room was clean and comfortable. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. Kayaks available to use, lovely spots to sit and watch the lake and wildlife. Onsite laundry facilities were appreciated! Just a wonderful, peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature and unwind. We greatly enjoyed our stay at Overland Lodge. Thank you so much! We will return!
We've been coming here for many years for an annual fishing trip. Current owner Alaina has made some several nice improvements in the rooms and around the premises, such as the new decks she is currently having built on the front of the main lodge and a-frame cabin.nPlenty of parking and plenty of outlets for recharging boat batteries. We've researched other resort/lodges in the area and always come back here due to great value and service.
Nobody around to check in. Was no defined room given.nOnly one key available.nNo remotes located for TV and SAT.nMade contact about remotes and she was prompt to come help locate them and fix the problem. While searching for remotes in furniture it was learned of lack of cleaning there and an extra key found. So cleaning staff needs to pickup the pace and efficiency, maybe a check list.nShe was not able to get us remotes to work the tv and gave us a $25 pet payment discount.nShe had some construction to all the decks on the building which caused no place to sit outside of room and was a bit of a construction looking mess.nWhat’s a great quiet location and close to anything you needed. Lake access and equipment available to renters.nnWould I rent a place there again, yes but I would check the place over in first entry and have things noted or fixed ASAP.
