Wow…so glad we found this hidden gem. We were looking for somewhere to eat while traveling across the state of Michigan that wasn’t fast food. The service was quick and friendly. Our food had great flavor and was very fresh! Worth a stop is your passing through. The little town of Marshall was so cute and very clean.
Great customer service I went in here on a whim, looking for a coffee shop. There were not many around, so I saw people sitting outside in the patio area and decided to go in. I asked for recommendations of a refreshing drink. I was interested in the seasonal herbal infused lemonade. The girl behind the counter said they didn't have that, so I asked which flavor of lemonade to get. She said she likes to mix a few together. I had strawberry pineapple lemonade and I am so glad I listened to her recommendation.
Outside the Box has amazing smoothies! I highly recommend the Strawana smoothie, it’s a strawberry and banana smoothie. Alas, the food wasn’t really in my favor, but that again I don’t normally eat this healthy as I should. I ordered the chocolate muffin, it was okay but the top is just wonderful, WOW!! Although, my family did enjoyed it! My mom ordered the spicy chicken soup, and she loved it! And my sister ordered the Vietnamese Broth Bowl, and she enjoyed it. I’d definitely come here again with friends or family, but not on my own.
Everything is perfection here. The customer service is impeccable, the atmosphere, the food is so perfect. What an amazing addition to the Marshall/Battle Creek area!!! It is gluten free if you have a gluten sensitivity, and everything is made with love and care!! This restaurant is located in the heart of Marshall not too far from the fountains and a perfect quick stop if you are out shopping and want a healthy option!! Or even a quick smoothie!! Vegetarian options: They offer tons of veggies and most of the menu is vegetarian!! Parking: Plenty of parking in the back, and a couple in the front!!
I was enjoying a nice breakfast here, got a muffin and a delicious latte. I really like this place. I do have to say though, it concerned me when a large group sitting near me had outside food they were sharing in the restaurant. It was some kind of homemade pastry dish. Many people, myself included, like coming here because it is a gluten free environment. This calls that into question.
A quaint little Cafe. We were drawn in by a chalkboard sign saying "All you need is love and coffee." Had a berry and mint smoothie bowl that was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxing.Food: 5/5
I just found out about this place last year and it's my favorite place to go for a quick bite to eat. I recently started working in Marshall so I'm happy to have a healthier option the days I don't have time to pack a lunch. Plus their salads are always prepared so aestheticly. Lol. Only thing I do wish is that they had nutrition info for macros/calories to make it easier to keep track.
Went off the highway to find this place. It’s in a cute little downtown strip. Had to walk a bit in the cold to get there, didn’t see any closer parking. Food was great, just a little pricey for a bowl of lettuce and veggies.
Saw this place online and wanted to give it a shot. So happy we did. Food was so good and the staff was super friendly! The kids even enjoyed it. Recommend the Southwest or Tropical bowl.
This place is fantastic. Gluten and dairy free. Build your meal, base-rice, quinoa, noodles. Add chicken, beef or tofu, then the toppings-avocado, chickpea, ginger and many more. The ginger cashew dressing was great. The brownies and cookies are so good. They also sell pasture raised meat products. I highly recommend this place whether gluten-free or not. Great place.
