Came for a late lunch and was wowed. Great atmosphere and service, cool decor, great menu options and they even let us order from dinner menu so we could get some steaks! We got 2 NY strips Rare plus, cooked to perfection. Great quality of meat, great flavor, and extremely filling. I was very happy about finding this place and highly recommend.
We stopped in for lunch on our way home today and were very happy! Great wings, food, and service! Will definitely stop here again!
Went to our flames for my birthday with 4 adults and 3 kids. Ordered 3 appetizers and a meal for everyone. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING besides one appetizer and my daughters mashed potatoes were cold. The bun on my sandwich felt like it had been sat by an open window, the lasagna was cold in a cast iron dish you could pick it up and hold the bottom for an extended period of time never having to put it down because it was that cooled. We had been there for 2 hours before receiving our food. We were not asked once for refills on our drinks and did not have cutlery. As well as our appetizer of garlic fingers with a piece taken out. We ended up leaving with only the children sort of eating because they were so hungry we took our meals to go and probably won’t even end up eating them. They did say they were busy and short staffed … fair but if you looked around they were not busy. What I’m mostly upset about is how they handled the matter they said they would give a discount… on a 200$ they were offering 30$ off… their staff discount. I even asked if I were to leave all the food uneaten on the table they would still make me pay? She said there is nothing more she could do. I said I know there is more and I would still be dissatisfied with 50% off. We did in the end receive a 50% discount but I feel that was not very accommodating. I am so disappointed how they handled this. The only reason I have given 2 stars instead of 1 is because I have enjoyed the service and food in the past. In response: I was understanding yes but I was not happy, heating up the food wasn’t even offered. Now you are slandering me saying I always complain for discounts? Your bold face lies speak for themselves. Do you think this makes you look good? I never complain I went with my family for my birthday because I was ranting and raving about your food and was thoroughly disappointed that we couldn’t even eat it. You don’t need to ask me to not return as I would not give you my business after your response and seeing your response to other reviews that are anything but raving. What a terrible way to treat the community! Completely embarrassing. Your staff was nice yes but I hope they don’t get treated like some of your unsatisfied customers do.
My family and I went here for lunch and had a very nice experience. Our server was attentive and personable The food came quickly and was very tasty. Everyone at our table enjoy their meal and we look forward to our next visit.Food: 5/5
Not impressed, white wine was room temperature, advised all menu items available but when ordered items had been removed, main course arrived before finished appetizer, fries with main course stone cold. No follow up to check if meal was good so not chance to address issues. No apology or allowance made. Initial server was polite and friendly.
Awful service. Cold food. Who ever responds to these reviews is ignorant and lied on another review. Thry stated we went it and constantly do, and ask for a discount I have never been there in my life. We got our food 2 hours after arriving and it was so cold youd think it was in the fridge they said the bar was busy as the excuse . When I walked into the bar after I saw 3 tables. I will never return. AWFUL SERVICE she called my sister a liar on the other post. Yet when we were there the manager herself was apologizing to us now someone has lied just to try to not make the business look bad. I can not comprehend how a business is still in business when instead of taking a complaint for what it is lies about their customers. You could not pay me to return
Just finished dinner at Our Flames. The service was ok although the waiter brought my son the wrong dish so they brought us what he originally ordered. It took a very long time to get our food and when we did it really wasn't very good. I ordered the chicken Neptune and it had old canned crab on top of over cooked chicken on a bed of what I can only assume was asparagus in some distant past. The asparagus was overcooked and very dry. The hollandaise sauce and crab was so unpleasant I scraped it off. In the end they charged us for the wrongly ordered dish. I'm really not a fan of paying for others mistakes. I'm excited to see what kind of response I get to this review. Some of the responses I've seen here are unbelievable.
Well they didn't have my preferred choice of libation, however our server Brittany claimed to make a mean Long Island iced tea from scratch. Which happens to be my all time favorite if made right. Brittany did not disappoint so if you have time for one stop in they are awesome. I only rated it 4 stars for not having my coolers . Food is always good at the Flames
Took my family here for the first time for lunch today. I ordered the 5 piece chicken fingers on the menu with a side poutine $17.90 so I could share with my daughter. Below is a photo of what I got. 4 pieces of chicken and a tiny poutine. When I asked my server why I only received 4, she informed me that they changed the portion but hadn't got around to changing the menu. Just a tip: when you as a business, advertise something on your menu, you deliver that same thing to the guest who ordered it!!! Nothing was done in any attempt to right this wrong. I will never be returning. Worst customer service I've encountered in long time.
We were celebrating my mom's birthday and had an incredible dinner! Seda was our server - she was delightful! The food was absolutely spectacular. I had to ask how the mushrooms were prepared because they were so good! We had the chicken neptune - it was a wow! I was also completely surprised by how good the wine was! Thank you - I think I've found a new favourite! The 2019 Black Sage VQA Cab Sauv - I'm ordering a case from the vineyard as we speak!! Thank you for such a spectacular dinner! We will be back soon!
