Ottawa Public Library - Emerald Plaza

Excellent library! Really friendly and welcoming staff, plenty of sunlight, quiet, easy to navigate, comfortable seating, computers available, with water refills and toilet facilities available too. Great place to be!

Great little library to go to whenever you wanna finish a paper, read a book or just have some quiet time. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable too.

Community library, open Monday to Saturday, good place to do some reading and studying. Nearby Tim hortons, grab a coffee the. Enjoy the relax time.

I haven't been to this branch in several months, due to the pandemic, but I agree with the review saying that the staff needs to do something about kids running around in there causing a disturbance. Also there are some people who sit at computers and eat and drink. It is a library not a restaurant and a daycare. More should be done about this.

Cozy set up. Study rooms you can reserve . The staff is super friendly. Lots of good programs and it's just great positive venue.

Nice library, pretty standard. The reason only four stars is because they will only let you access a computer if you have a library card. It's a drag if you forget I.D.

Overall pleasant experience. The book selection was good, the organization provided easy access to those looking for a specific book. The lounge area gave a good mix of studying desks and comfortable chairs for those looking to just read and relax. However, some of the computers had lousy internet connection if you have more than 3 tabs open, so I had to log off and wait for another computer to do any work.

The Ottawa library is an excellent place to pick up a new read. This location has a nice little space for studying, too. The staff are always helpful when you need them!
