"I have been a licenced Mortgage Broker#10419 in Ottawa since 1985, and worked out of our Richmond Rd office since 2010. My specialty is in the arranging of residential mortgages in Ontario, for those who qualify normally and ALSO for those who don't, due to either credit or income issues etc. Everyone's needs are different, so being able to access mortgage funds from approx. 20 different lendersinstitutional and private, I am able to satisfy the needs of most borrowers when one bank may not. Dan has been my mortgage guy since 2004. Dan has provided me with solid lenders, great rates and most of all he was always ready to answer all my numerous questions. Dan had shared solid financial advice on many occasions with me. I am forever grateful for our chat and his advice in early April 2020 where our conversation regarding my renewal for a variable vs fixed made me take a step back and rethink a variable rate was not in my best long term interest and pointed me to a solid 2% fixed term for 5 years. Amazing service, very knowledgeable and efficient professional. We worked with Dan to get a mortgage around Feb 2022. As the housing market was red hot at that time, we need to opted for an unconditional offer - with all of its serious consequences if the a mortgage cannot be finalized/approved. Dan got us a pre-approval, then communicated with us since day 1 about the risk, asked us to prepared all necessary documents .He was also in the loop with our realtor and lawyer to make sure everything was in place for the mortgage to be approved after we won the bidding. Will highly recommend Dan's service.
