Ottawa is a very clean, well organized, modern airport. It is very easy to navigate. The terminal offers a wide variety of food and beverage options, there is a plenty of shopping available too. Seating is plentiful near all gates. Security staff move the lines with extreme efficiency. Ottawa is a smaller airport, but due to its size is very easy to navigate. Many travelers from other cities are surprised at how quick it is to get from downtown Ottawa to the gate you’re flying out of. While it’s connected to the city by buses, it could use a more efficient mode of mass transit.

Very clean and well organized airport. They have a fast lane for VIP members of airlines which is nice and a great time saver. The security can take quite some time, so be prepared, the left most lane is usually staff in training though they did not always let you know that. They tend to be more strict about things you can bring on the plane

Need better food options on the departing to America side. The Express Tim's needs more options. The place is easy to navigate, clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. I've never had a long wait through security. Getting luggage from the carousel is fairly fast.

I really like flying out of Ottawa. It's just the right size. Not too big and not to small. Security never takes too long, staff are friendly, but there are also enough shops and food options. They also have plenty of destinations that you can fly too. Great airport.

Plus: cell phone lot, very clean, lines move quickly. Smaller Airport that new travellers won't find overwhelming. Easy dropoffs, good car rental locations Minus. No dining past 9pm.expensive short term parking
