Took Mr Scamp today for a wellness exam and vaccines and microchip etc. fantastic experience. They were running late but.still got me in within the time. Was even done early! Tracy in charge of.program is a very sweet and caring person. Helped me with forms since I'm visually impaired. The staff are also very kind and compassionate. The vet was AMAZING. sweet and kind and willing to answer any question. Even Scamp liked her. Maybe not for the few seconds of the shots but made friends with her for the treats. Thank you !
my family & I began dropping in to learn about the processes involved in adopting a cat about 6 weeks ago.nThe facility is kept clean & tidy & the staff are very helpful but frequently quite busy.nI found it easier to gather info, discuss processes & animal histories in off peak hours.nIt took us some time, a number of visits & a few appointments with different cats, but we found the perfect kitten for our home. Both Alexa & Angelique were especially patient & generous with their time, can't thank them enough.
Max & chico were 13 year old brothers that have never been separated. Their owner passed away from a heart attack at only 41 years old. The owner coming from a family and culture that don’t accept dogs had left them behind. The owners cousin took responsibility for them wanting to get rid of them. He gave the dogs to my wife & I, since we knew the owner and the dogs. Us having 3 cats and a puppy already told him to give us a few days for us to get ready for them. Behind our back he surrendered the dogs to humane society. The dogs were surrendered Dec 19 at 1:30pm and were put down 1:50pm within 20 minutes these dogs were put down. These dogs were not aggressive , they were not viscous and they had no internal damage they were both old but could have lived a year or 2 or longer with proper care. Max had a bad hip and Chico had an ear infection. Those issues can be treated with time & effort. Humane society told us they were not adoptable and would be expensive to treat and the cheapest thing to do is to put them down. We found out late night Dec 19 that they were taken into Humane society. We came the next day 4pm thinking we would be fighting to get them back but it was to late. They put two very well trained old dogs with a pitbull mix not fully pit. But Pitbull enough to be put down within 20 minutes they gave them no chance they gave us no chance. Humane society asks for donations and put on a show about helping and loving all animals. Humane society should stop pretending to be a great place for animals and show everyone their true colours. For respect for the dogs and the owner we knew for many years. We claimed there bodies, we had to take there bodies and drive them over to eternal companions and we got them cremated for their owner and us out of respect they will be next to our loving pitbull who we had to get put down at 13 years old and had cremated because of a tumour that caused internal bleeding only good reason to put a dog down for suffering.
I just picked up Gigi on the 31rst or December now known as Boubou and she's exactly what I was looking for . Maybe not as fluffy as I hoped for but as for a kitten she's perfect, sweet, cuddly, a bit shy but she's awesome and already starting to come around after a few days. And I wanted to thank you guys for taking care of her until I just fostered her , I can't wait for her to finish the foster me program so that she will be mine forever. Thanks everyone that helped her. nnZack
I adopted my cute little rabbit Kallie over a week ago. The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Staff was always there to respond to my questions. Thank you so much for my new best friend :
