Story

OT Sports Excellence is a new sporting goods and apparel store serving the Peace Country. We are a member of the Sports Excellence family, who are a Canada-wide sporting goods specialist buying group. Being part of Sports Excellence provides you chain store pricing with family oriented service while being independently and locally owned and operated.

Owners Trevor & Shana founded OT Sports Excellence because they identified a lack of quality sporting goods and apparel in the Peace Country region. As active sports members in the community they founded the store with the intention to provide top brand name goods at big store pricing.

Trevor & Shana are both members of the Peace River Minor Soccer Association board and will continue to serve in other areas of the community. Their primary focus is to assist the members of the minor sports organizations, and the venues in which they play, to enhance all aspects that sport has to offer.

Having moved here from out of province for work in 2010, Trevor & Shana were not sure what to expect from the community of Peace River. Just over 2 years later they are still here, and have fallen in love with the community that they initially had only ever seen on a map. With Trevor’s extensive background in the sporting industry, including participation in hockey, baseball, golf, and even coaching hockey at a professional level, the two hope to provide a high level of sports specific customer service to the region.
