"This office does not collect any property taxes, but rather provides support to local governments in all matters relating to real property tax administration. Our office is the custodian of the county tax maps and administers the GIS systems for the County. We provide administrative support to local Assessors in the production of the annual assessment rolls, process correction of errors for tax rolls, and generate property tax bill files for local governments and school districts. We also assist the County Treasurer with the annual delinquent property tax auction, provide training and support for local Boards of Assessment Review, and assist with the preparation of levy and apportionment data for municipalities and school districts."
