Tried Osmow’s for the first time and we were seriously impressed! I had the Half & Half with Chicken Shawarma — perfectly spiced, generous portions, and that garlic sauce took it to another level. My wife went for the Chicken Salad with Fattoush, and she couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and flavorful it was. On top of that, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Great value, quick service, and food that hits the spot. Definitely coming back!
It is fairly priced but I don't see how people rave about this place way more than their competitor across the street, the palace. Got chicken on the rocks and it doesn't even come with any vegetables? Shoutout to the guys working the front who gave me some veggies with my meal because it was just a platter of rice with a few pieces of chicken.
I had the chicken shwarma which was flavored very well, spice level was great. However, our chicken had some bones as well as a lot of cartilage which was not pleasant to eat at all. Also we ordered the garlic sauce and they sadly forgot to add it which was disappointing since I read all the great comments about that. Overall great place with good prices just wish chicken quality was better.
When I first moved to Calgary, this was the first place that I actually had a Shawarma Donair after moving into my new place. That was a year and a half ago. I ordered this evening a beef Shawarma… And I am so disappointed because the first time I ate here was so incredible. The meat was so chewy and grisly,every bite I had to spit out. I’m sad and I’m probably never gonna order from here again and I wish that wasn’t a thing because my first experience was so good. . What happened?
The food is good and have lots of spice, and also spicy.
