I was pleasantly surprised with my dish, the fries were hot and fresh, they didn’t skimp on the meat and the sauce was tasty. The hot sauce is yum but it is definitely hot! I think this is going to be added into my roster of go-to, quick take-out dishes.
Ordered 6 meals for our family, as walk in customer. Poutines on the fries were too salty. There was lots of salt on the fries. Employees said that they add salt on the fries. But it was too much for me, for my wife and for my father in law. Other meals were nice and tasty. Purine with fries too much salty.
I was visiting from out of town and decided to try this place. Am I ever glad I did. I had the lamb on the rocks and every bite was perfect. The menu was a little confusing to me, but the lady working the cash helped me customize my order and was very pleasant to deal with. 5/5 on the food 5/5 customer service. I will be back.
I had Falafel wrap, and it was so yummy... I can’t explain how good it was... There was an employee named Devanshi who made that wrap, and she was so polite and kind. I think she is the best wrap maker..
I have been going to this particular location for about 2 years. The staff are fantastic there!! The food is always good. I really like the atmosphere as well. I am happy we have an Osmow's here in Belleville. Delicious!!
Went yesterday, ordered kofta kebob. absolute garbage. wrong spices used, kofta is made of ground beef, what I got were separate cubes of meat scattered over the rice. the staff conducted cleaning of the vents above the griddle while food was on it and near by. particles of dirt falling in an active food prep work area. mind boggling. staff's ability to communicate in english very limited. not going back.
If you're a simple person like me who likes chicken, rice, and a tasty sauce, this is the place. I ordered chicken on the rocks and it was phenomenal for what it was. I didn't get spicy sauce but the garlic sauce and rice were very flavorful on their own. Portion was a good size for a reasonable price. The server was also very kind and accommodating as I have some dietary restrictions she was able to patiently and effectively guide me through with the menu. Don't go here expecting true world class Mediterranean shawarma but again if you're looking to fill up on tasty chicken or beef this is a delicious option.
Painfully mediocre. The fatoush salad was far better than my shawarma wrap. Only the chicken shawarma is cooked on a spit, everything else isn’t fresh and the chicken had very strange spices and seasoning, it almost didn’t taste like chicken. Bland toppings and the weakest garlic sauce I’ve had. Ugh. Belleville is such food desert.
I usually get the chicken shawarma poutine with mild spice. If you do get spice be sure to mix it, because they don't. Would be a five star if the quality of the meat was better. Not to mention of the 5-6 times I've been there I received grizzle and bone in my poutine 2 times. So be sure to chew your food well.Food: 4/5
My husband liked his chicken shawarma “well enough”. I asked mine to be spicy and what I got was a generous dollop all in one spot of Indian ready made pickle…holy cow!! My mouth is still numb. The baklava a huge disappointment…totally dry and un-gooey. If we do go back for another go, it certainly won’t be for the extremely average shawarmas nor the terrible baklava. Customer service was also just okay.
