Oshell's valu-mart

Not your typical grocery store. The meat department is excellent I believe an in-house butcher so the cuts are great. They also consistently have fresh baked bread and donuts!

Great grocery store! First time goer this weekend was at the cottage and forgot some items and this place e came in handy twice ! For such a small town grocery store it was very well stoked and easy to navigate through and everything was fresh! Will go back if ever in in the area again !

Staff they have are great, unfortunately there are not enough. They are severely behind in updating infrastructure, but on the bleeding edge of price increases. They do not provide any curb side service at all, which is alarming in a small town with a high elderly population.

Their always out of stock and they keep rasing their prices its better to drive to northbay from powasion to do your shopping. Update .. last couple months had to go back to town and do some shopping thought we would get a fresh pizza while we shopped pizzas went from 12 bucks to 14 we ord the delux and got a quarter of the toppings and now the pizzas seem to be made like flat bread so while we shopped we noticed the price change on the same usuel stuff we buy and they was all priced 2 bucks higher so im guessing they just decided to up everything buy 2 bucks i think we will report this spececially since thers a price fix on pc brands and they jacked the prices up by 2 bucks on that brand also

Staff are friendly! Selection is OK for a small town. Some of the prices seem a bit steep to me. The store itself could use an update.

Bit over priced but has everything you need, plus great food at there deli restaurant

Oshell's Valu-Mart is a staple in the Powassan community. The staff is always helpful, the take out pizza is delicious and all basic grocery nessesites are available at a reasonable price. Some reviewers comment on the store being out of date. I feel the current fixturing is fine as it gives the store the perfect country aesthetic. The environment and our planet applauds not updating something that works.

good selection with fair prices and awesome takeout pizza and fried chicken! bakery items are often depleted on busy weekends.

Friendly and helpful staff. They do try to carry a bit everything but it is a small town , so smaller size grocery store. Unfortunately this means steaper prices as well. Overall great staff, clean store, convenient plus should support our local businesses as much as possible. Make for solid, Happy and thriving community.
