Great store hours, friendly staff. Some good deals being a Lobkaws affiliate, some prices I couldn't believe how expensive they were. Also, like many small town stores north of Huntsville, out of sale advertised products within a couple days of sale start

Staff are wonderful! The quality of the produce is getting worse. Fruit is especially bad. Bought 4 mangos yesterday for today and rotten. Bought cherries a few weeks ago went home to wash them and same rotten. What is going on? It’s not a sale if the food is gone bad already! Total loss of gas and time on top of the cost and the rest of my ingredients.

Not the store it once was. Lots of empty spots on the shelves, with less variety and less inventory than there used to be, including PC and No Name products. With new ownership, the store has undergone a subtle shift from being a well run country store that catered to the wants and needs of rural folk, to a store that tends to cater more to the needs of the urban shopper, of which we have few. I find myself shopping elsewhere now except for a quick run to pick up something I forgot.

I agree with the comments that quality has gone down as of recently. I'm unsure if this is due to a cheaper supplier that the new owner has gone with? The produce aisles often have food that is already on its way out. I often find my newly purchased fruits mouldy 24 hours after bringing them home. The photo below was my most recent egg purchase. It was more than one. I've never had this in the years of shopping there.

Over priced. Feels like your trapped because they are the only store in town. Thank goodness for insta cart
