I decided to treat my boys aged 3-5 years old for dinner and dessert.. should have known as we waited a good 10 minutes waiting to be seated. As the restaurant only had 10 tables that were occupied, so not busy, got to our seats. We got our drink order, we waited again to order our food, trying to keep two busy boys entertained while waiting and being hungry,. After 20 minutes we finally ordered our food. Two original burgers with fries and gravy, boys ordered chicken strips and fries. After waiting for 35 minutes one boy got his dinner one chicken strips and fries.. the other boy and myself and husband waited another 20 minutes. Over a hr waiting I finally asked for the bill of what we already had drinks and one order of chicken strips and fries... Then get apologizes for the delay..while the youngest child was fed and the other had to wait for the rest of us to finish.. I won't recommend this place especially if you have kids.
The brussel sprouts were great, but the poutine gravy was a bit watery and vinegary for my preference. Standard pub-style chain atmosphere. Good service, though. A very good restaurant in Dawson creek. It is located close to the Dawson creek mall. It is an urban restaurant with modern decor and good lively music. Menu is very well balanced with something for everyone. We tried fish and chips, drunken noodles, lettuce wrap, chicken wings, everything tasted very good. They have a good drinks menu as well. Good service and we had great time there. I would definitely recommend this place for nice food and drinks.
We had lunch here and it was the service was terrible. Seemed okay at first, the host was very friendly, but our waitress was awful. Once she brought our meals to our table after a 45-minute wait, she literally never returned. Not to refill drinks, ask how things were, nor provide condiments. We waited for close to 30 minutes for her to return to our table after we finished eating to request boxes for our meals and the bill, but she never came back. We had to go get the host in order to pay our bill and leave half eaten meals because we never did get boxes.
Worst experience ever. The place is fine if its slow but the waitresses can't handle if it's busy. Too many mistakes and nothing was addressed. Won't be returning.
Enjoy a delicious meal here. Wonderful dry ribs with honey garlic sauce Ummm ceasar salad one of the best I've had - well seasoned and steak with shrimp. Steak was cooked to my liking med rare, vegetable not over cooked. Great service! My 2nd visit here and both times have been great.
Had a great late night supper here. I find the prices very fair at OJ’s. server was friendly and fast. Cheesesteak sandwich was great. Good beer selection.
I was there for lunch today and have never experienced such a rude waitress. Her attitude was deplorable! No smile, grumpy, and seemed mad with life. I ordered fish and chips. She asked me "do you want anything with your chips, gravy, ketchup?", I said tartar sauce please. She tutted at me and said "that's for the fish, I was asking about the fries" No cutlery with our food, no sugar or cream for my friends tea. We had to call over another waitress to help us. And then when I didn't tip our original waitress she slammed the debit card machine down on the table. Terrible service!
Pacific Rim noodle soup is awesome paired with dynamite shrimp is the perfect lunch.Food: 5/5
