Great food and was not too crowded on a Sunday night. You might consider parking in a nearby location and walk to the restaurant. Shredded pork was excellent after an awesome wonton soup.
Let’s state the obvious first: the name is incredibly cringy, and I hope they change it. That said, the food is great and everything you’d hope for in a Chinatown-style Northeast Chinese place. Really great lunch special prices, too!Recommended dishesChicken and Veggies, Shrimp Lo Mein
Amazing. I recommend their more traditional dishes like the dry braised tofu chicken or beef are great too. It’s just so rich, braised with leeks and mushrooms and lotus root and peppers and strong but not overpowering heat. Love everything else too, other things I’ve really really enjoyed include the Chinese chive cakes, dumplings, cumin chicken, potato with wild chili, and basically all their vegetable dishes. They are very good at sourcing their super fresh veggies, many of them local during the summer.
This place is delicious and has a wonderful variety of offerings for any diet. I often eat vegan and gluten-free and I'm always pleased with my choices here. It's also kid-friendly Vegetarian options: great vegan options. I LOVE the Chinese broccoli! Beef was practically tasteless and the General Ghau's came out of the kitchen cold pretty sure they microwaved it when we told them about it which didn't help with the taste. Not sure why all the reviews of this place are so positive, but with all the other options in Northampton is I'd recommend going elsewhere.
This is the best Chinese food I've had state side since going to China over a decade ago. I look forward to going back to try more of their dishes.Food: 5/5
All I gotta say is I found my Asian restaurant in Northampton. The hot and sour soup is one of the best I've had and I eat lots of hot & sour soups and is very reasonably priced. The general Tso's chicken is just the way I like it, nice and crispy...and the sushi...omg the sushi!!!
My friend Asher Weber Shute loved this restaurant before he passed on. now I eat here every day in his honor.
Fantastic menu and the food is incredible! I decided to try the Sagittarius roll without the spicy wasabi sauce and it was better than I anticipated. The combination of Shrimp and crab tempura with cucumber and eel which by the way is hearty like swordfish and not at all a fishy taste and an eel sauce on top is a good choice. I would recommend it paired with one of four choices of sake and the waitstaff recommended one when I asked and she was right. I look forward to going back here.
Great place for sushi! The service is always so nice!
