The overall experience was great, to my surprise the food was REALLY good, I've been to other tours where the food was awful but here the food and staff were fantastic, I feel like the view would've been better in the fall with all the different colors of the trees but it was still a great first time train tour experience.
The food is great, the cars comfortable, the scenery is great and the locomotive is a genuine, rare classic that rides well, too...

The food was great! The whole train ride took 2 & half hours which was more than enough for the passenger to finish each meal and at the same time enjoy the scenery. It has 2 stops, you will be allowed off board in Sherbrooke to stretch and enjoy the mini local market. Each side of the train has its unique picturesque view. We went quite early, and the leaves have not fully turned. But still, the lakes, ducks and the crew were all lovely! Bonus: you could also meet the Train Conductor at the end of the ride!
The food and the personnel excellent. We were in the panoramic section and it is very hot. The view to Bromont is not worth sitting up in that section. But my overall experience loved and will go back but not in the panoramic section.
The ambiance is cool, the media used during the diner is outdated and needs to be updated. The food is good but it's not worth the money. As for the scenery, if you like seeing industry and houses while you eat, it's for you.
Enjoyed the great view in the dome car whilst indulging in the perfectly-paced brunch meal. Food tasted fresh and was interesting, with a decent selection of accompanying wines for purchase. Timeless and cosy ambiance in the dome car, a bit less-prefered, but still nice in the standard cars. Genuine vintage equipment used. I wish the train would venture further afield with an all day experience and in future I'd choose a trip to Bromont, as the scenery through the mountains to the west of Magog beats the more urban scenery to the east. All in all, a great experience that I look forward to doing again!
Lovely ride. The observation deck is a great way to ride. The staff went above and beyond when we made a boarding location error.
Nice event and good way to relax.
Somewhat disappointed... we did the Magog-Sherbrooke. Very overpriced for a view of industrial sections of Magog to Sherbrooke with quite mediocre meal. For those wondering if they should, avoid if possible or at the very least just avoid the meal and stick to the ride only.
