Hit and miss, had to cancel appointments because of Covid, couldn’t get my warranty replacement lenses as a result. Exceptions should have been made for that, in my opinion. Front desk very courteous. Do not see Dr Pelleriin if you are having your kids tested. Mis diagnosed my son, wore glasses that rendered him legally blind.
For so many years my whole family including my parents have been clients of the St-Lazare optometrist. Today when I called to ask for a DP number because I was ordering glasses online, I was told that they would not tell me because they do it on the frames in store. I explained that we buy our glasses there 800$ every two years. However; my husband needs a new pair now, inside the two year limit, and therefore insurance will not pay for new ones yet, hence we have to go on goggles4U. All that to say is that, they refused to help me and when I asked how to measure she told be that I could Google search it, patronizing and rude at the same time. So many years going to this place.. sad. I will share my story with others.
An update. I asked for my pupillary distance number along with my prescription and was refused. So dont do eye tests here as they seem to believe it compromises them to share the information because it could be evaluated incorrectly by their competition. So ordered a pair of computer glasses September 25, along with a pair of sunglasses. I am on my third version of the lenses, as they have been so far, and this time wrong again. First time the prescription was totally incorrect. This time the field of vision for my computer glasses and sun glasses are the same, which means realistically I can't see over 2 feet. Good for the computer glasses, unperfect for the sunglasses. Not perfect to drive with. Are Opto-Réseau 1767, Chemin Ste-Angélique, Saint-Lazare, Quebec clamoring to fix my problem, which is totally not my fault, nope I have been given the next appointment which is 9 days from now. Beware, when dealing with this company. Twenty minutes after this was posted I received a call to come with my sunglasses. We are now trying a third lens, and I am very hopeful. I have been told "we will get it right" which is exactly what I want.
I found the optometrist to very nice, professional and she helped answer several questions. I would recommend this store.
