Heavy Equipment and Crane Training
The OETIO has been in operation since 1982. This world class training institute offers crane operator, heavy equipment operator, and construction safety training programs in support of the construction industry.
The OETIO provides training from two primary campuses in Ontario. The Morrisburg campus, in eastern Ontario, delivers heavy equipment operator training and also serves as the design, development and administrative center of the OETIO. The Oakville campus, a new modern facility co-located with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 793 headquarters (IUOE), opened in January of 2006 as the center for crane operator training. Both campuses also provide a wide range of construction safety courses in support of the industry requirements.
The Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario (OETIO) is a progressive organization dedicated to the provision of quality training consistent with evolving industry needs and government standards in order to ensure a safe, efficient construction industry.
