UPDATE: Decided to give them another try, was pleasantly surprised. Place got cleaned up nicely, no more gross greasy dust bunnies over the food. Service and food was still great. Service was great and all, and even though they were sweeping and mopping, that place needs a deep clean. The amount of dust crusted on the hood, coming from that vent is disgusting and the thickness of the dust on the emergency light, right above where the food is, is also gross.
Went to the St. Albert location and was extremely disgusted as there was a DEAD FLY in my chicken wrap. I was even more disappointed by how rude and unprofessional the staff was. I kindly asked for a refund and the guy working did not apologize but instead implied it was my own fault because they “don’t have flies” and it “did not come from there”. Safe to say I will not be returning to this location and will be showing the video proof to everyone I know.
Food was hot and tasty. Very clean and very friendly staff! The food was amazing and portions did not disappointed me! I would recommend this location to anyone, Best Opa..
Well first of all I have to say that the place stank, and looked like it needed a very good cleaning and that is what I could see, It worries me what are the sanity areas are like in the back, if that is how much care is taken to the seating area. Clean your act up and have some standards
First time in my 12 years of eating at Opa, that I was completely dissapointed from the bottom of my heart. This location makes the most awful Opa food, I've ever tasted out of all the Opa I've tried across Canada. Not only is the crouton was old, Caesar salad was 4 times less than other locations, same with portion of rice, like it's only given to a child portion of rice, and disgusting rice honestly. Worst tasting greek potatoes ever, what a huge disgrace to be running the Opa brand. To think these people who makes the food is trying to make this location go out of business or what, absolutely dissapointed, I rather go back to any Edmonton location. I would never recommend this location.

We usually love coming here for the delicious food and generous helpings. I went in on a Friday afternoon before my work shift, at 2:45, and was told they were closed till around 5. I went out of my way to drive to the northern part of St Albert to go there, and the guy said he's closed. It made no sense to me, as the hours say 11-9! Very dissapointed and probably won't take the chance going back if they make up their own hours.

Been to this Opa’s before and always had good service. But today at 8:20pm I was told they are closed???? Even thou sign says 9……it’s disappointing. So maybe going forward please update your hours
We ordered a couples week as part of our "Wednesday Take Out". It was +30 and there was no air conditioning. I felt horrible for the staff as you can see they were trying to survive heat. Plus our food made all of us ill. I should have known better with the humidity in the restaurant, but if the air conditioning cannot operate in hi temperatures, then close for the day. It is a risk to their staff and patrons.
