This place will have you licking other peoples fingers. Finger licking Good. You won’t be disappointed. I ordered the smothered ox tails and green beans/yams Great Vibe and Environment. Wonderful music and a waitress that was on point with the menu. She was very professional. I’m definitely going back. Traveled from Ohio to try this restaurant
I honestly would of put no stars . I ordered 3 soul rolls last night which comes with sweet potatoes , Mac and cheese , and greens instead I received jerk chicken rolls or chicken and greens idk what this is. Plus it was burnt and they had an emergency close last night because they were low staff . I threw the food away and came back the next to get another order because it was messed up. They told me I had to bring the food back from last night in order for them to basically fix my order . So you want me to bring back food I have proof you messed up keep it over night and bring it back ? That doesn’t make sense . YOU ARE WRONG ! period point blank it’s not right . I won’t be coming back cus that don’t make no sense ! No accountability for messing up my order , no compensation or nothing that’s not how you run business.
Ill let this plate do the talking. Of course this is an after plate. It had mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, cornbread and lamb chops. None of that food stood a chance. Definitely a place to frequent.

Great music and great service! I got Hennessy wings and pot roast with sides. Everything was fresh and delicious.
I took my brother his wife and my sister there this past Wednesday. We thought the food was great until we all had a bad case of Diarrhea for the rest of the night. I'm sure we're not the only ones experiencing that discomfort 12/14/2022 . I paid 137.00 with tips and I feel like I should be refunded. I can only hope someone from this establishment will respond to this matter. 708/261-6844
It was really nice the place was clean the service was wonderful. The line was long so you know that the food was good waiting time I wish could have been a lot faster. I do like the fact that the owner was hands on interacting with customers.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This pot roast look exactly like dog food, and plus it was over seasoned. I also ordered string beans not Mac and cheese. Would not recommend anyone to purchase from this location!!! Not to mention when I took it back they had an attitude with no accommodations at all!!!!
Okay this is the deal. I went to the location on 83rd but they didn't have any more oxtails so the cook checked this location and I went there. I ordered the $25 oxtail meal with two sides and let me just say I was disappointed. They serve you out of a buffet in the front of the store which I didn't see until after I ordered but I was still excited, first timer here. I get home and open the tray boom,,portions are good but the food was blah well the sweet potatoes where good hence the 2 stars. The oxtail were chewy and the mac and cheese was dry. I will give the 83rd street location a try again but it's a no for me on this location.
This is a Black owned business in the right area. When I read the previous reviews I knew when I got there it would be an issue. This Sunday this location was super packed & line was out the door. The guys in the kitchen please stop clowning & playing this is business. Put your masks on! Covid is still Out here, you guys are around food. Still busy the cashier tells me I have to wait 40 minutes for the Dressing. Fine I’ve been craving this. I waited 30 minutes & the guy serving the food says my food is misplaced? How? And now it’s a 10 to 15 wait. I stayed patient while he claims to give me complementary. He was calm which is a good mood to be in. There is a limit seating but I stayed in. I never got anything extra & they forgot my cornbread. I’m hesitant to come back cause I wanted to try the Hennessy wings. Expect the worst. I recommend because food was hot & very Tasty!! Dressing tastes like my grandmas. The Yams were EVERYTHING! forgot to mention I waiting over an hour so brace yourself. My is stomach is HAPPY! I actually enjoyed anyway, Good Day.
